Hey I was trying to find this song on Amazon, but this song isn't even in the album Celtic Romance. Then I found there is a song called The Secret Wedding in Celtic Sanctuary Album from David Arkenstone, but it is a different piece. Could anyone tell me how to get this song ? The thing that really strikes me about David's work is how he has improved as he went along. His first few albums were a little raw in places but showed the tremendous talent that he is. And he grew into a master as we listened. I feel privilaged to be a fan.

there is another music also called Secret Wedding in the movie Braveheart by Mel Gibson its good but this music is much more heartbreaking and lonesome; i love this one better :)

It surprises me that more people don't know who David Arkenstone is. I mention his music or hum a song at work and when I am asked what I am listening to in my head, I say it is a melody from one of the greatest composers/musicians in the world. When I tell them who it is, they have no clue, or their eyes glaze over. Their loss. This man's music reaches beyond the heavens and into the Cosmos! Gorgeous song!

This is a very specific genre of music, in the same way you wouldn't know who Black Star are unless you listened to 80s-90s black death metal. Arkenstone is a good composer, not great, and hardly timeless. These are standard Celtic compositions. I enjoy them myself, but don't think less of people b/c they don't know who he is.

@ghostdancer1974 I worked for a printing company in Milwaukee back in 90's. I did a cd display, booklets and covers for his album "Quest of the Dream Warrior". I immediately went to the local music store and bought the cd. I was totally blown away. I asked around for more of his discography and I too got puzzling looks from people. It's sad that music this good goes unnoticed.

@keiterbug It goes unnoticed by the "mainstream" market.  The fact that this kind of music exists at all indicates that there are those out there that are sick of "music" that deals with pimps, hos, "gangstas", drugs, hate, etc. I like to think that Mr. Arkenstone views US as the only "mainstream" that matters! Maybe that is wishful thinking, but if so, it is my wishful thinking! Also, I agree completely...Quest of the Dream Warrior is an amazing album!

I've been listening to David Arkenstone since I was about 10. My father got me into new age music at a really young age. DA is a magnificent composer and I am glad he is still making music! I was walking through Epcot about a month ago and I paused. My date asked me what I was doing....they were playing Papillon (On The Wings Of The Butterfly)! I mentioned it and I got the same look you mentioned. Sad but true lol. IMO this world needs more Arkenstone (Diane too)! :)

@ghostdancer1974 Most of the world's best artists don't churn out album, after album, after album like mainstream artists do. Some treat their art with a more personal touch. Most people never heard of DA because he isn't mainstream, he devotes to a smaller audience who appreciate finer artistic style music. Enya is a good example of a popular yet non-mainsteam artist with a more artistic approach to music. People love their music, but it is too refined for a vast audience.
