  • @dannypbass Really?!?

  • @poundcake

Yep for real they are both, Mister Gadson and Sir Palladino on the record.

O looking forward for the up-coming album coming out man waiting for more then 10 years.

This groove section on the album and D'Angelo on top of it it's gonna be something different.

By the way very nice channel you have :)

check out this source: russel elevado's site

    thats D'Angelo's studio engineer

    Greets D'Anny

  • James sang Loveland as well.

  • James also played on the Jackson 5's "Dancing Machine" and Diana Ross' "Love Hangover. Motown staff producer Hal Davis used him on a lot stuff during the 70's.

  • Big Gadson fan here - never heard this version before, thanks so much!

  • ps: I agree, he is an AMAZING singer...Keep digging brother!!! That LIZARD shirt is gangster man (meaning its dope) !!! Word!!

  • @unique74muzik Thanks for sharing the knowledge that had to be a great day to meet and just chop it up with him. He's someone who's brain I'd like to pick.

  • this jam came after him leaving the WATTS band...I asked him about this jam too and I told him this is the cousin to LoveLand. Gadson did NOT get a lot of the proper credit as a writer & vocalist on the earlier sessions...his solo projects proved who had "the sound". He is a great man!!!

  • This came after. On the early Charles Wright Warner Bros lps Gadson ,Wright and Flemons did the lead vocals on certain tracks.

  • @cratenerd after wow talk about reusing a formula haha

  • A much older James Gadson can be seen jamming down in Brazil with other drummers and young hiphop DJ's in 2006's "Brasilintime". Recommended for worldly music lovers and crate diggas!
