dude take a razor or a flat object and pop out the silver ring around the trackball but put ur flat object in the top right corner under the screen and look for the light im not sure where its located its probaly in one of the corners under the trackball but after that take a HIGHLIGHTER not a marker and color the light and pop the trackball back in...noob

This is done by an internal software program designed to utilize the blackberry 8100's color LED behind the trackball. This method mentioned by this user is good for those blackberries without the color LED.

i was trying to add the theme into the desktop manager APPLICATION LOADER WIZARD..

couple of the themes say .. "No additional applications designed for your device were found"

your definately not alone, many people are having this issue, some because they don't match the themes with the model number, others just save data / return back to factory settings, and it works.

Go to your local search engine, and type blackberry 8100(or whatever model) themes, and usually the first link is free themes I find. Hope this works for you.

hey, i downloaded the dolce & gabbana theme and when i went to install it using the app loader on desktop manager i cicked on the location where i extracted the files to and the folder was supposedly empty. help please :)

I have a link in the More Info section to the right. Download it to the desktop to make sure it's there for sure. Go back to the app loader and load the files after extracting them. If you run into another issue just message me with details on how your doing it.

I see no issue with the 8100 themes working for the 8120, I haven't tested this though. If you run into an issue, let me know and i'll look into this further.

You must locate the file you downloaded, and like my instructions state, open blackberry desktop manager, then locate the folder which you extracted files to. Blackberry desktop manager will only be able to read one of the two files. I belive the file it reads to install theme is the ALX, im not positive though.

Follow steps in the description :)
