If you were a little further with your camera down Decker Canyon (23), within a mile of Westlake BLVD, you would have seen my spectacular low side crash. Separated shoulder. . . Bruised bones, abrasions. Best I can figure is I applied too much front brake as I was heading too high into a right side curve, with oncoming traffic, and tried to brake and STEER at the same time. @XSHOOTER06 They are almost all grabbing too much front brake for the lean angle. I'd be willing to bed it's a decreasing radius turn (ie: it get tighter) and in looking up the rider has a decision to either lean deeper, or try to decrease speed by braking. Your survival instinct tells you to brake, but physics says you have a better chance by leaning deeper and/or gas'ing it and riding out the rear slide, less you high side.
