If you are strong and physical and fast you'll do well in rugby even without the talent of a top professional rugby player if you train hard enough and are motivated enough. In fact if you are a great specimen of an athlete with a strong physique and given a choice of soccer or rugby to play as well as you can....not having played both.... you are likely to do well in rugby no matter what...but in soccer it depends on whether you have the talent..to do well. In essence that's the difference...on the surface soccer seems easy to play as it appears simple but talent is key.

In fact if you are a great specimen of an athlete with a strong physique and given a choice of soccer or rugby to play as well as you can....not having played both.... you are likely to do well in rugby no matter what...but in soccer it depends on whether you have the talent..to do well. In essence that's the difference...on the surface soccer seems easy to play as it appears simple but talent is key.

I have played both sports and yes, in soccer you learn to act some fouls in order to fool the referee, in rugby hehe is all about strength and manhood, rugby FTW

there two completely different sports. I do hate it when 'some' football players act like pussies like that but rugby is a more physical game and football is more to do with using your brain and creating skills on a pitch which would baffle and rugby repressed gay.

actually this is wrong...rugby is more physical but its not dumber....rugby players and football players are probably as smart and use their brains as much, the difference is that it's harder to control a ball with your feet than with your hands. you can't compare the sports. It's just personal taste. They were made with different rules. I liking rugby better doesn't mean it's better. The beauty of it is that you get to choose which one you want

As a rugby player myself I must say this video does good. I have played soccer for a number of years and I have realized rugby is a faster paced, more exciting, and all round better game.
