Kimbo's upper body is very powerful. But his legs are Super small and weak LOL. Anyways I Hear that Kimbo might be fighting for "Shark Fights" next and/or he might take a PPV bout. Which is a "Bare-Knuckle match" with a fighter by the name of Bobby Gunn. I Think "Maximum Fighting Championship" should try him out. After all he got a great reception from the Canadians at UFC 113. So MFC should be good for him.

wow, i was very impressed by this. kimbo handled this press conference very well. he sounded very mature and intelligent. you never really could tell the real kimbo from his early days, but those videos gave the impression that he wasn't what he showed in the fight and the interview. will be interesting to see his future in mma. don't know how he'll do, but he definitely has come a long way.
bring on "gannon" now! Kimbo would destroy him with the skills he has now. If i was kimbo I would set that match up even if he isn't in the u.f.c. anymore. It's called mixed martial arts for a reason. When the UFC started, it was discipline vs discipline. Don't call Kimbo a punk cuz he can't take it to the ground. There are so many fighters in the UFC who constantly try to take it to the ground cuz they are scared to stand up with certain fighters. Houston was afraid to get hit. I think Kimbo has the power to knock virtually any fighter in the UFC. That's just my opinion.
I've always liked Kimbo's candor and humility. He knows he's the noob in this game, and works his butt off to be worthy of the opportunity. Gotta respect that.
Props to Kimbo for the victory. Next I'd like to see him fight a real heavyweight and see how he fares against someone his own size. I agree Kimbo maybe shorter than most heavuweights, but he still naturally walks at 240 pounds. I do agree he's not 6'2" what' he's listed at. Bill Goldberg is taller than Kimbo and he's 6'2". The WWF had him billed as 6'4" and exaggerates everyone. In fact Bill Goldberg is shorter than Brock Lesnar who's officially 6'3". Kimbo I'd guess is actually 6'0" or 6'1" at the most. That still makes him shorter than most heavyweights
Kimbos street weight for fighting is 245 to 250ish, thats not doing the mma daily grind. Lean and conditioned hes at 215, you saw on ultimate fighter how big those guys were compared to him, he worked out so hard he had no body fat or very little. -Namaste-
his heavy weight mma weight was 235 before he cut to 215. He did not perform good against Huston at that weight but still won but not in a exciting way.
230-240 is his best weight that he will fight at and thats when Kimbo does his daily mma grind. Kimbo said he doesn't want to make those kind of cuts again.

As far as his attitude then....DUDE...he was fucking street fighting....it's 50% posture man....it's real....and people get worked up. @WarBeer He always left them alone on the ground cause hes not even suppose to hit his opponents on when theyre on the ground that was one of the rules when he was street fighting, but your right on the letting them decide when to quit even though Kimbo would always try to persaude them into keep fighting so that means Kimbo wasnt getting mad cause then he woulda kept on going.
So yea your right he was still a good dude back then just hes more humble now.

He seems cool and humble. He always has been, really. He knows he's not very well rounded, but give the guy a break. He's making a living, and has been in this sport for a very short period of time compared to many. He's improving, for sure. I hope he does well.

wow, i was very impressed by this. kimbo handled this press conference very well. he sounded very mature and intelligent. you never really could tell the real kimbo from his early days, but those videos gave the impression that he wasn't what he showed in the fight and the interview. will be interesting to see his future in mma. don't know how he'll do, but he definitely has come a long way.

By looking at the Heavyweight division Gilbert Yvel would be a good match for Kimbo (he lost to Dos Santos @ UFC 108). That should be a good test.

It's called mixed martial arts for a reason. When the UFC started, it was discipline vs discipline. Don't call Kimbo a punk cuz he can't take it to the ground. There are so many fighters in the UFC who constantly try to take it to the ground cuz they are scared to stand up with certain fighters. Houston was afraid to get hit. I think Kimbo has the power to knock virtually any fighter in the UFC. That's just my opinion.

Props to Kimbo for the victory. Next I'd like to see him fight a real heavyweight and see how he fares against someone his own size. Eg perhaps a fight with Antoni Hardonk, Chieck Kongo, Ben Rothwell, or Gilbert Yvel, He's not ready for the uper echleon of the HW division, but instead he should be fighting one of the gatekeepers and see how he does.

I agree Kimbo maybe shorter than most heavuweights, but he still naturally walks at 240 pounds. I do agree he's not 6'2" what' he's listed at. Bill Goldberg is taller than Kimbo and he's 6'2". The WWF had him billed as 6'4" and exaggerates everyone. In fact Bill Goldberg is shorter than Brock Lesnar who's officially 6'3". Kimbo I'd guess is actually 6'0" or 6'1" at the most. That still makes him shorter than most heavyweights

Kimbos street weight for fighting is 245 to 250ish, thats not doing the mma daily grind. Lean and conditioned hes at 215, you saw on ultimate fighter how big those guys were compared to him, he worked out so hard he had no body fat or very little. -Namaste-

his heavy weight mma weight was 235 before he cut to 215. He did not perform good against Huston at that weight but still won but not in a exciting way.
230-240 is his best weight that he will fight at and thats when Kimbo does his daily mma grind. Kimbo said he doesn't want to make those kind of cuts again.
