okay, I'm goin to be 41-years-old in a couple months. i just took on the pole several months ago. this video by far is one of the most informative in terms of preparation and strengthening for this grip. Does this exercise also help in preparation for the twisted grip hand-spring? or do you have a different instructional video for that? Thank you so much for putting this video out. I really wish there were more out there like this.
sweetness, you WILL get there i promise, and you can try the first one, where you have ALOT of control over yourself, so if you need to clamp your foot lock on nice and tight so less pressure coming down onto your body, you can do that quite easilly, but it will help you get used to the grip and gain strength At the very least..(i can garuntee), just don't move on to the other two variations (exercises) until you feel totally confident, but you are the bomb..luv ya girl. xoxo shel
Oh wow this is very informative!!! Extremely helpful!!! I'm sorta struggling with this at the moment and this was right on time. Thank you for always thinking of others Goddess Shelly. :) Love ya!
NOOO problem babe. i don't know how you are even up to this yet, but your handspring proved to me, i was right all along...you were gona progress beyond any and all expectations, and oh yes..you have! GOD BLESS. gotto catch up with your vids, but all i've seen thus far, has impressed the hell out of me. keep it comin babe! xoxo LUV YA TO:)
and you undoubtedly will. don't push yourself too hard, take it easy..HEAL & feel better, cuz we luv ya hun, and soon enough, you'll nab this & hundreds more moves u never thought were possible. i used to think i'd NEVER be able to do a sm or superman, i mean alot of things i said NO WAY NOT EVER...think positive & positive things will happen! get well hun:(
thank you. definately, put it aside, and when you feel like you can go for it, always start small, then go big, it HELPS ALOT! your getting really good, i think soon u could nail this. keep me posted! thanks again!
awesome shelly, thank you so much for posting this, i'm frustrated because i can't do this, but you really helped reinforce the importance of taking your time and building strength, looking forward to more tips :) x
YEAH...i sware, i always rushed and now that i see how that could not only injure you, but frustrate the hell out of you. i learned, it is important to take baby steps, stop and smell the roses, before you pick 'em, if that makes any sense, lol. coming up with clique's now, but it is better to progress slowly, you may get the move faster, by gaining strength the proper way, that is why i backtrack for others benefit:) wish i had done that b4, but soo glad it helped, come join the board:) xoxo
you are a really good teacher! you are very clear and easy to understand and I love how you change your positions on the video. this is SUCH a helpful post!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Ya know, I've been watching the vids, leavin and reading comments, and well this might seem like a strange question, but, can I clone you?..Make another you I can have for myself?
HAHA..feel free, if the world can tolerate yet another shelly, then OK, :) i don't think your comment is strange, i think it's one of the most flattering ones i've ever gotten, bless u honey! xoxo shel
