this vest uses 4 plates?

An I can understand that this is not a Plate carrier, but only a vest, where I would need SAPI plates underneath?

Can this vest take AK-74/47 mags, or is it only capable of taking m-16 style mags?

One last thing I've noticed, its too complicated with the details on it, in the heat of battle, during the fear and confusion, the last thing you want is your vest to complicate things even more with so many strips and things getting unclipped here and there, keep it simple is the way.

3.The inner pads sponges are not waterproofed, if they got wet, your vest is going to get heavier, in other words, you’re fucked, and at the same time you need a fabric (breathable) surface as their cover not leather, plastic, etc.

4.Good to see it has its own integrated carbine hooks, but too bad they are made of plastic not metal.

Okay take it from a Palestinian with experience, here are my observations:

1.The type of clips on the pouches is not good, it will require TWO hands to open an ammo pouch with that kind of clip and close it again after a reload, you need at least one hand on the rifle (pistol grip) at all times, otherwise you will be more vulnerable when you use both of your hands to reload a magazine.

2.Velcro strips don’t look of a good quality (soft surface).

guess you are right. so I will correct myself. I am an Israeli and our vests are the best for me.. they are all hand made ... I have tried some U.S vests and think that the Israeli vest is a bitt better. that doesnt mean that I think that the U.S are not good - they are great but not hand made thats all my freind

Already tested it.Much better than the old one.The only disadvantage is that it's weight is a little bit more tha in old one,and less air circulation on your back.
