  • nice

  • Not exactly a burnout, but still awesome as fuck.

  • these are very cool/expensive cars that were imported for lincon mercury in the 70s, the only weak point on them is the gearbox/ transaxel this IRS rear is not made for burnouts -its stupid, this car was made to do 170 plus some, give it to a kid and they want to just smoke the tires dude!!

  • Maaan! I'm so glad you didn't lose it there----I probably would have been lost in those trees, nice recovery/control. Cheers

  • Power by Ford...what else runs like that???

  • nice sound !!!

  • The guy doesn't know how to steer.

  • @washboardblues Spoken like a true wannabe who has never driven high hp cars.

  • t'è andata bene

  • Aussie made 351 in an Italian supercar! Wonderful.

  • @PeterHBne1 Uh no 1972 these were 4 bolt main Cleaveland (351C) (thats Ohio) built engines, not sure where Aussie comes into play.

  • @eclypse3d I can't swear by the year (may have been later than '72) but I can remember for some reason Detomaso could no longer source 351's from the U.S and Ford Australia had quite a stock pile, so they were at some point coming from Aust.

  • @PeterHBne1 Ah ok I think I get it the Dearborn Mich. production run ended after 72, and supplies stopped after 74. I am pretty sure they still labeled it 351C for some reason (maybe just design?? someone will need to check that). I know the 351C was technically a "medium" block not really a small or big block engine. Also the only one that could be machined to accept 4 bolt mains if it came 2V......

  • Know what? It doesn't get any better than that!!!

  • amateur hour on the steering correction, sick ass car though

  • Drive it like you stole it!

  • powered by Ford!!!

  • legen - wait for it - dary.

  • Ford 351 cubic inch 5.8 liter V8 makes me cum in my pants everytime

  • is that a V-Tech?

  • sooooooo sickk!!!

  • is sexy?

  • That's something I would like to see more often, a PANTERA doing a burnout!!

  • Wasn't even a burnout

  • the car is not unstable, this idiot was just trying to make this burnout as dramatic as possible. now he just looks out of control.. the car stopped spinning from power at 0:09.

  • Such cool cars, these.

  • niceeeeeee

  • does the car feel light or heavy?

  • sweet!

  • The engine should be the Ford V8 Windsor... I believe that the V8 Cleveland was used for the previous versions of the Pantera... if I am not wrong.

  • Is it the GT5 S ? Very great car!

  • Dang...that was sketchy....

  • So, is this powered by petrol or children? What a monster.

  • @Tait011 powered by fuzzy puppies

  • which model is the best pantera?

  • I just came in my pants.... Always loved the Pantera!

  • Batman just got hard.

  • the italian ford

  • Satan on 4 wheels..!

  • fishy tail sweet !!!

  • i would die for one of those cars

  • @rtfk101 then youwouldnt be able to drive one lol

  • Damn Nice! Check out my 71 DeTomaso..........vids!

  • Good one MISTA!

I thought it was gonna get away from you there for a moment. Easy, easy....

If you like to hear/see short clip of a 392 breathing thru quad IDA's with factory 180 degree exhaust system, go to:- Pantera Grp4 and turn up the sound.

  • @PentruRasaAlba sounds like shit on comments. this poster needs a fitting brain, not that euro-snob crap brain.

  • if the average you dropped the clutch with this much power then we know why so few are left. Nice job keeping it straight-ish, what an animal!!!!

  • lol this video never gets old...

  • how many HP?

  • its 390 HP

  • wow, that's a fricken beast!! looks like it's real easy for it to do burnouts... :D nice car man

  • These and the brycklens have to be the best stock cars on the road when you get behind the 351 cleveland or 429 thunderjet or cobra / boss thats raw power

FORD FIRST OFFICIAL RACING DEVICE BEAUTIFUL CAR.

  • La potencia sin control no sirve de nada

  • how many of these were built and what were the model years. Interesting that Ford had a rear engine car other than the GT40. I love the new Ford GT's but this seems like it could be a cheaper substitute LOL. Car has very nice lines.

  • @westy44cal From what I can find, there were about 7200 made. There are an estimated 1500 still remaining in the world. I happen to be a lucky owner of one of the 1500 remaining. They had a Ford 351 Cleveland engine and a 5 speed transmission. 4 wheel independent suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes. Whats amazing about that is these were made from 1970 to 1974.

  • @motojeff That's a low survival rate..1500 out 7200? Wonder why. Thanks for the info. I wonder if anyone dropped a 427BB in or maybe a 5.4L GT500 with a 4.0L KB. Now that would be nasty!!

  • @westy44cal Think mid 70's GM oversized doors and mid 90's Pontiac snap on plastic construction. That's not even close to the method of construction for the Pantera but it's a visual most can relate too. Can't deny the coolness of having one because it would be a cool piece. Lots of power with all the weight in the car to provide traction. I worked for and was raised around one of the last true radiator shops in Kansas and I can say that the radiator is one place where money was spent

  • @motojeff would have to say your numbers are low. There are about 3,000 Pantera's in the US alone and another 1,000 in the rest of the world.

  • @westy44cal these were made until 1993, yet once past the '74 model year, they were much rarer since they stopped official importation into the US in '74. The last of the models used a naturally aspirated Mustang 5.0 engine mildly modified to about 300 horsepower, which seems strange considering there were so many power-adders available in the 90's. The early years were sort of a Ford product, but after '74, they were purely De Tomaso's own car, even though he still used Ford engines.

  • @culcun

Yes indeed. ....and when the 351C supply stopped in the USA, de Tomaso found a source in far off Australia where they love V8's & Pantera's. The story goes they cast thicker blocks for use in trucks creating a heavier but much stronger 351 Cleveland bottom-end to go with the wonderful; big port, big valve, closed-chambered "squish" heads that led the way & was unvincible in the early 70's. But these days, I must say a Ford Windsor 427, 550bhp crate motor sounds awfully tempting..

  • I dont think this guy can handle that car too well... lol

  • Did he crash yet?

  • aguante el Renault Torino!!!

  • what company are these from....they got 351s right? so im guessin ford

  • YES!!

  • Yeah! American muscle!!!!

  • thats too dangerous

  • @Danny7930 if youre still in control you aint fast enough.if youre neighbors have'nt complained youre not fast enough.if you dont scare the fastest jap crap youre not fast enough.when fast motorcycles are deep in youre mirror and you are scared and you are sweating, thinking why did i do that.youre close.now take it to youre local track and race it.then you will see the truth.fast is not what you thought it is.

  • @billcrisco i dont get it?

  • Man just in idle it sounds like it wants to kill you. fucking awesome.

  • @kullprit

Looks like it just tried to kill him after that burnout!

  • ...if i were you i'd go with the 'that was fun i'm never doing that again' approach to this stunt. IT was SICK, but don't ef that car up man!

  • I agree. these cars, , well parts when you cna find them are PRICY

  • this could have gotten really really bad, really quick.

  • Whoa! thats a beast mate! She goes a treat :)

  • OMFG i love it !!!!!!!

  • Argentina!!

  • Beautifull car,,,,haven't seen one of these in ages..

  • Cutie

  • i think its a 351 cleveland

  • is V8??

  • Is this a question?

    Yes, it is a V8-engine!

  • @MistaBreed More specifically, the 351 Cleveland.

  • @MistaBreed The question mark gives it away...

  • @MistaBreed

Bullet eh!! No the V8 questioner! lol

  • @MistaBreed It's even an American Ford V8:)

  • @MistaBreed The pantera is V12 my friend ;)

  • @speedermarto italian sportscar and v12 might be synonymous, but a standard pantera never had anything else than ford v-8. plus it was designed by an american ;-)

  • @speedermarto no its not 351 cleveland 4v heads ford power all the way if you in fact have ever seen a v 12 it not factory

  • @speedermarto No not maybe in Eu thay may be but from my understanding all the way up to 1991 these were Ford powered never a V12..... 351's and I think 302's near the end of the run..

  • @MistaBreed .351 Cleveland Ford engine.

  • Ford 351 Cleveland to be exact.

  • no, its a 5hp briggs and stratton

  • @jeffsond

    hahahahaHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH

  • @jeffsond When did Briggs & Stratton start making high performance 5hp engines? I would like to get one for my rototiller.

  • @blabblab1212 It was specially made for the Pantera :)

  • It's the centrifugal clutch used on these high performance Briggs & Strattons that enables burn-outs like these.

  • @blabblab1212 right on!

  • @jeffsond gotta buy one!!!

  • best car sound ever!!!!

  • @jeffsond LMAO...best car related sarcasm ever....

  • @stuntdriver007 thanks,...i really tried to be the mostest bestest sarcastic jerk. :)

  • Dude i would trade my 1968 Dodge Charger for that car :O!!

    No wait... nevermind :P

  • i bet this car would win against a ferrari or lamborghini

  • No it won't it only has 350 HP.

Still my favorite sports car together with the Lotus Esprit though.

  • whoohha !!! nice sound btw

  • italian made and american engine!!!! :-D

  • you did a good job keeping it on target there, thumbs up

  • Did it nicely on fat tires! Put some skinnies in the back and catch them on fire please!

  • 351 cleveland power at its finest(well not really)

    ford ftw

  • tom nelson has a twin turbo 351W that would set this car fine 1000+hp

  • @sirlonghair A nelson engine in this car with some other drive train upgrades would be a true predator on the street and strip.

  • No that looks like he drove it exactly the way he wanted to. I would've had it in the gravel upside down on fire if I had done that.

  • i'd have it in a tree with lightnnin bolts coming out of if

  • I award you the best comment of the century award. Congrats. lol

  • lol, almost lost it.... nice car...
