The metal gear series has the best songs because it's the best game series ever. Every game is unique, better than the previous and stays unforgotten in everyone playing it somehow. It's like the films Godfather and Errol Flynn's Robin Hood, classic, unsurpassed and always good to see .

I just wish if they ever try to make a movie, Kojima must take care EVERYTHING about it, even music.

Despite all the carnage and the "oh shit" feeling you get from watching the chopper roll in, this song was still the first thing I noticed about that scene, it's that epic.

Admittedly, if I had listened to this song 4 years ago, I would've hated it (mostly because I was an arrogant ass that passed off anything that wasn't metal), but I'm glad that I decided to expand my tastes, because I would've otherwise passed off a really great piece of music.
