Right at the beginning of the interview, the guy asks about his but trip..puts his hand out and you can see Dave, for a split second, thinks he's gesturing to shake hands then catches himself. If you watch it over a couple times, you can see Dave glance at the guys hand and twitches and almost raises his hand to shake hands...then followed by the "I'm already annoyed" nervous sniff. . Pretty funny.

And, regarding comments of Dave´s looking tired and "sick" here, if you watch the entire interview, he talks about how he recently was very sick and lost a lot of weight and had to start working out to get back on his feet.
If you go to Drumdepartment and watch the entire intrview, Dave gives a great look into how he manages the constant touring, how it is being a busy musician and raising his daughter at the same time. He does this in spite of the overly annoying interviewer which looks away and keeps interrupting, like he wants Dave to finish as quickly as possible. When you have a chance to interview a legend like Dave you ask the questions and LISTENS!!
Man, it's obvious than the interviewer didnt know almost anything about Dave's work all over the years .. When Dave was talking about his most knew projects, the guy was like : "ooo, wau, okay ... nice ". And btw the thing on the snare it's explained on Dave's "Natural Evolution" DVD.
So, how can someone do a interview to one of the most famous drummers and not be prepared for the oportunity ??!!!
