You don't need stereo film to create 3D anymore. Its about making the optimal depth map & adjusting the red & green channel in opposite directions that is optimal for the scene distance. I have converted my 2D paintings to 3D ;) I'm currently producing a video so others can have this experience but I can send anyone a link to an existing example.

Some work better than others. I'm guessing that you are trying to get alaglyphic 3D from regular TV feed by frame grab stereo pairs from shots with left/right pan or tracking? I can see how that would work if the image didn't change much between frames. Pretty cool! Is there a Photoshop add on that makes anaglyhs from layered images or something?

anamaker is a freeware program that I found really good, it does all the different formats, any left right pan in a still scene makes a good pair for stereoscopic pics

Do you still have the shots you took? You could make some stereo pairs; that way people won't need to use glasses.

yeah have a search for eels pet shop boys, i tried using 2 camphones blue tac-d together :)

I took screen grabs a split second apart during scenes when the camera pans, and used software from www dot stereoeye dot jp
