I normally think American remakes of films add too much gore and action to the remake of the original. However, in this case I think those additions were needed and provided the frights which were missing from the 1980s original.

This is one of the few remakes of any film which is better than the original. Best film since Let Me In!

OMG OMG OMG!!! I watched this movie yesterday with my sister and dad as the first horror movie I watched the cinema! I loved this sooo much and I higly recomend this but others might think otherwise, after all, it's only my opinion
