  • Thumb up for Koreans

  • Thumb up for Mandarin

  • Korean because it's the original

  • Out of these four, I like Korean the best. However, in my opinion, Japanese is the best sounding Asian language. X)

  • VIETNAMESE!

  • Original is always original to its best. Kpop leading music entertaintment in asia. Korea is the best.

  • KOREAN.

  • there is one in Mongolian. you should mix it in.

  • @aimarhaluunbnashuu baidag yum uu? youtube deer bn uu? nadad link-iin ogchoh

  • where's tagalog? tagalog FTW..

  • The cantonese version is fanmade. not official, thats why its so bad.

  • most spoken language in asia: 1.mandarin(rank:#1 in the world),2.hindustani(#4),3.arabic(#5),4.bengali(#6),5.japanese(#9),6.punjabi(#10),7.javanese(#12,also the most spoken language in south east asia),8.wu(#13),9.telugu(#14),10.marathi(15).and if the Indonesian is used in everyday life, will be 4th most spoken language in the world( more than 240 million). i love mandarin japanese indonesian korean javanese n hokkien of course.

  • I'm Cantonese but the Cantonese version sounds terrible.

The Mandarin one was nice and I like the Viet one.

  • English is the main language....that's why we all are communicating in the English Language...Am I right? So, don't u think that if some Caucasian were to listen to all kinds of Asian music, they would think that it's similar in some ways because they can't distinguish between the languages. I know that some can distinguish between the languages if they have studied or hear more than others. My main point is that, what makes us unique is that we have so many different asian cultures and

  • traditions, languages, and so on...and regardless of what language we speak when it comes out of our mouth, we are Asians.

You missed out on all the kinds of language in Asia....We all have different languages that sounds good when we speak...and that's what makes us Asian...I am proud to be an Asian

  • Korean version is the BEST and it's the ORIGINAL!!! Rest of them are just trying hard to copy Korean style, shame on you all!!!

  • Thai

    Vietnamese

    Filipino

  • The female voice sounded great for the cantonese one....when as soon as the guy started singing I had a brain aneurysm.

  • ALL OF YOU WHO BASH WESTERN COLONIZATION OF SOUTH EAST ASIA, I LOVE YOU!!! FUCK THE SPANISH FOR FINDING THE PHILIPPINES AND GIVING THEM A MAP TO THE AREA AND RUINING OUR TRUE CULTURE T_T!! Nom, Filipino alibata, the Malay and Indo scripts, are all fcking taken over by this ugly shit.T T

  • @XxXStarLoveXxX I share your pain man... It just created a lot of colonial mentality, did you know we were a prosperous country, in both culture and wealth? Look up the luzon empire dude... Why couldn't they just leave well enough alone? And we didn't need them for anything, even catholicism, we already had the portuguese teaching us catholicism, just as the japanese did... Damn western colonization had us divided between our asian bretheren... :(

  • @ThtOnePinoy EMpire of Luzon? You mean the empire of Tundo? Yeah those where great days huh... Too bad the spanish destroy most of its history records. The spanish purge it to tell the world that the Philippines has no civilization and thus colonization is a must. The only record I got in the Luzon empire is it's bitter rivalry with the May-das Confederacy whose capital is bhutuan in the visayan region.

  • @HulingMagdiwang Lol can't tell whether your being sarcastic or not :P Hopefully not, but I think the rivalry was an on and off thing, it just depended who's dynasty was next in the empire, I don't think they fought the whole time... If spain didn't destroy so much records and de-culturalized us, we wouldn't has so much colonial mentality, and crab mentality... Fuck them for that, I have no quarrel with modern spain, but their ancestors I will always have a perpetual resentment...

  • @ThtOnePinoy hahaaha don't worry dude i'm not being sarcastic just making sure that were in the right page ^_^ I'm just happy that some Filipino still studies ancient Filipino dynasties and kingdoms on which I lay my Addiction too. Right now I'm studying different deities in Philippine mythology, who would have thought that each ethnic group in the Philippines has different gods and goddesses. My favorite is Tagalog myth and Bikolano myth. Just wanna share ^_^

  • @HulingMagdiwang Ahh ok :) right now I'm focusing on the Luzon empire, and also focusing on it's relations with Japan, I also am just now getting into how much involved the sultanate in ancient pre-hispanic philippines were with ancient ming, because did you know that the sultan sulu has his burial site in china? Reason was is because during his meeting there, he unfortunately passed away at the same time, so the ming being really sad, decided to make his final resting place there :)

  • @ThtOnePinoy Ah that's good to hear dude. I hope you continue your studies. I will also continue my studies in our mythology and maybe someday who knows. I might launch a graphic novel that revolves around Philippine Mythology. Keep it up dude. May Bathala smile upon you :)

  • @HulingMagdiwang Is the name Bathala or Batara? Hmm, anyways, I heard of Bathala is either the supreme god of ancient tagalog, or is also our pre-spanish version of diyos. Makes sense that we use Bathala or Batara for referring to christian god, because both of them are creation gods, but in reference to god, may bathala smile upon us all :) I am hoping to see your findings

  • @ThtOnePinoy It's Bathala however it is considerable the name Batara for it is Bathala's Sanskrit name or Hindi name (sorry I forgot) for our Myth practically Tagalog is inspired by the triumvirate in Hindu Myth. Bathala of the sky, AmaniSenaya of the sea and Amihan of the wind is the Tagalog trinity. And yes Bathala is our version of Diyos. The Spanish use Bathala as a resemblance to God for easy expansion of Catholicism while the lesser gods was branded demons. Saints replace them.

  • @HulingMagdiwang bathala is coined from Batthara of Hindu belief. It is a supreme star (Tala) that is what we expect to come(nibiru) here in our planet. The Tagalog of "God" is "Maykapal" meaning the Creator, maybe coined from Aramaic term for Eloyim(Elo-im).

  • Even though Korean may be the original but here is what I would rank.

    Mandarin

    Korean

    Cantonese

    Vietnamese

  • OMG!!You should choose another different song because I'm Vietnamese and I hate Bao Thy so much, she always steal others artists's music. What a shame! She puts our Vietnamese into shame!!

  • Actually, the Korean version is better than the Mandarin version.

  • @ GuardiandemonX

really? i only came acorss it because of the mandarin version...any purely korean version? becase free style305's verion is part english

  • mouse loves rice is your best bet actually, or even numa numa has at least 11 different versions that include jap, kor, viet, mandrain, maybe cantonese

  • My ears bleed when I hear Cantonese

  • dude, you can't really use songs for this kinda thing. songs these days are stylised so they sound more american

  • MADARINE BEST

  • this is Korean..

  • 1.cantonese

    2.korean

    3.mandarin

    6.vietnamese

  • your comparison thing is quite a phail i have to say. the singing style of these singers are not close that people accustomed to one version would naturally feel other being strange. And why do you say "no hate comments" cause in my opinion a title like "which Asian Language sounds the best" is made exclusively for hate comments and trolling. It's not you fault though, we live in sensitive times and people should be politically aware.

  • omg, i love this song. i thought the mandarin was the original. so i loved the mandarin. but when i heard the korean, ooh, its much nicer.

btw, i memorized the lyrics of the mandarin version.

  • Korean ^^'''

  • Cantonese could of sounded alot nicer, it was a bad singer trust me

  • They all sound nice but hm

    1. Mandarin

    2. Korean

    3. Canto/viet? Dno but the canto one is fanmade

  • Comment removed

  • My honest order ;

    Mando

    Korean

Canto, i think that didn't sound too smooth ;P

is there any other languages [non-asian] who sang tis song ? o____O; lemme kno (:

  • i am cantonese and i dont know wtf they was saying. lol prob because im not a pro contonese speaker.

  • @DontMrHuaMe i don't speak cantonese and i still understand... some...

  • i'll prefer English is the best of all language !! hehehe

  • @la626boyz u dumbo! ==" English is a harsh sounding language, and it doesnt sounds smooth as Asian tonal languages!

  • @KatPianism Asian are stupid and Asian languages are smooth as my arse !! hahaha...

  • @la626boyz you're stupid,go fuck yourself u little crap.

  • i wish vietnam can Speak their own language ''nom'' back. ^^

  • @se2cond Exactly,I wish we Vietnamese could speak "Nom"instead of "Quốc ngữ" now, fuck French, they made us adopted the Latin alphabet!! Fuck French!

  • @KatPianism i mean ''Nom'' is a system writting which is similar to chinese

but fck french has change us in to ABC

but anyway vietnam language are still the same no matter how the writting system look like but it's like some vocab has change between century 19th 20th

  • @se2cond I know,"nom" writing system is cooler than ABC,in my opinion.

  • @KatPianism yeah ABC symtem writting are alway boring....than a scirpt.

  • @se2cond we do speak our own language

  • Ok i gonna said 4 of them ARe ok. every language has their own beauti. don't be racist in here guy... plzz.

  • For my ears Mandarin sounded best though the Korean original version came across pretty nicely too!

  • Mandarin & Korean

  • Cantonese = Bad Singer, thats all, if it were a better singer, it would sound much better,

  • GUYS cantonese isn't that bad. For me the best language is the one that your mom speaks and the one that you are used with ... And uhm I think that you dislike vietnamese version that much cause you are yourself vietnamese and can tell the difference between a good viet song and a bad one. And yaahh I am sick of your annotations...

  • English sounds the best lol

  • Comment removed

  • Im a filipino but i really like the language of Japan, Nihonggo/nipponggo....

  • 1st Mando

    2nd Korean

    3rd Viet

    4th Canto

    and im a vietnamese^.-

  • Japanese ftw

  • in order from what i like the most

    korean

    cantonese

    mandarin

    then viet

  • 1st mando

    2nd korean

    3rd viet

    4th canto

i think in speech korean sounds better, mandarin only sounds better here cuz u can't hear the 4 tones in the song.

in nanjing mandarin is spoken with a really smooth and flowing tone. in western perspective it sounds better but in china it is considered one of the worst dialects cuz of the lack of proper tone.

  • mandarin

  • Original Korean song is best

  • there are lotta language exsiting in eastern asia, and you forgot my mother tongue, Wu language, derived from ancient Chinese language. and taiwan mandarin sounds slightly different from general mandarin spoken in mainland china. after all, i hate mandarin, the chinese government wanna extinguish wu language.

  • Wu sounds like a very exotic language. Be proud (=

  • Wu is now the 10th most spoken language in the world even after alot of suppression. eg. complete exclusion from schools and entertainment industry. there are more Wu speakers than cantonese or korean speakers.

Mandarin is only spoken by the most people because it includes people who speak other chinese dialects.

btw Wu is a language. it's only called "dialect" due to political reasons.

chinese government is messed up D=<

  • wilber pan!!!!!!

  • 1. Mandrin

    2.Korean

    3.Cantonese

    4.Vietnamese

  • I agree. Even though I'm Vietnamese hehe. This is also an unfair comparison really, cus it depends on the artist. All of them were different.

  • I like the Vietnamese the best and Mandarin 2nd. Thank you

  • I like the Korean language the best even though I'm Chinese.

    Japanese just sound European

  • haha yeah the translation for canto was kinda fucked up

    but whatever

    im not bitching

  • surre lol

  • i'm korean I didnt like korean one because the guys voice and the girls voice didnt mix in, Madarin: they mixed in great love their voice, Cantonese: guys voice is great but the girls voice sound "young", Last but not least vietnamese: i liked the girl voice in this one guys voice was like soo yea I dont know what to say in englishbut in korean it 느끼

  • woow, people think the cantonese sound so bad? i thought it was okay.. i thought they were all pretty okay. best was probably korean, mandarin, cantonese, and vietnamese in order.

  • @ YellovvKnight - I ended up talking crap about the Viet Version? What's up with it? I don't like it. I'm not saying its badly sung, I just don't like Bao Thy.

    @ XOSiren18XO - Well Said. Nice 1.

@ bblu3hoang21 - Agree with the North and South accent thing as I have trouble understanding North Viets (SORRY GUYS! NO OFFENCE) but disagree with the Chinese-Viet thing.

@ l3af3v3r - Very good points there. Nothing else to say really.

  • Cantonese does NOT sound ugly. It's rough, and I would rather have a Cantonese in court than a Mandarin lol

  • First of all, you don't make comparisons of languages based on the same melody! Different languages sound best in their repective melodies that reflects the speech rhythm and tune of the respective languages! But that's another issue.... In this case.. the Canto version is not bad at all! The man's voice is nice and professional and the girl's was out of tune and too thin- that's all

  • i think korean sounds the best

    mandarin really good

cantonese sounds really......rough sounding i had to turn it off

    Vietnamese sounds really good

this is what my Friend from France said

Vietnamese the best because the viets use french letters and also it sounds good

    Korean it sounds good

    Mandarin-ok...

Cantonese-EW! MAN TuRN IT OFF ( and then something in french)

  • Korean is great but it's very difficult to speak! Also Chinese! All words are common specially in Mandarin. Wo hen ju man tsao yao. weee. I think Japanese is great. Malaysian and Indonesian are the same. Tagalog (Which is the national language of Philippines) have many historic story. We have Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Arabic, English, and Malay/Indones. So I think you should listen to our Music. Try to listen at Christian Bautista's KELAN KAYA. GO ASIANS!

  • @EastAsiandictator : " Vietnamese the best because the viets use french letters and also it sounds good ???" WTF? ????????? WHERE DID U GET THAT FROM? FOOL?

  • my friend said that idiot.....

he is french and ignorant he isnt even my friend anymore

read my comment i said MY FRENCH FRIEND SAID THAT sheesh

  • @EastAsiandictator : STUPID?

  • of couse Chinese, no doubt.

  • Mandarin is the best

    Korean is the second

    Vietnamese

Cantonese is my third choice but the voice is not nice..sorry

  • vietnamese sounds cool

  • Wait, what's wrong with the Vietnamese speaking English? It sounds very very good =/.

  • Holy crap, the male voice for Cantonese sounds so Vietnamese!

  • Vietnamese is in language very similar to Cantonese (North Vietnamese).

  • canto is HONG KONG U DUMBFUCK!!! north vn speaks the same language as us southerners but with more of a norhtern accent

  • And what the hell is wrong with you, you utter turd shit cow?

  • im vietnamese north vietnamese dont speak cantonese

  • @whitelotus77: In fact, no one in Vietnam speaks Cantonese except the Chinese community who resides in Ho Chi Minh City and other areas.

  • I disagree with this! If north speaks the same language as south, i would understand everything, and it would be more easier to communicate. DDUUHHHHH.... yea its the same in a way, but there is many words that are not used the same way. But north do have a stronger accent. Viet and Chinese also sound similar to me in a way.

  • im vietnamese. i love chinese song . and vietnamese song . because i see almost everyday. chinese song like in the LONG MOVIE.. Jeouney To the West , NA TRA or The Blood Staines intrigue. that is so beautiful song that from China and Hongkong. because i watch hongkong, china, and Taiwan movie alot like, JUSTIC BAO i love those kind of song. that is Excellent song.

  • search for bu de bu ai cover.

  • ohh yeah, all of the white peole are jocking the mandarin version, go search it on youtube.

  • im cantonese, i have to say mandarin, then korean, then vietnamese, and last cantonese.

  • in this song, mandarin, then korean, then vietnamese, cantonese

  • Vietnamese sounds cool

  • even though i don't like bao thy......the viet version sounds pretty good!!!

the cantonese sounded horrible to me for some reason...

the korean wasn't bad but it was very captivating.....

and as for the mandarin i would say its very good so i really cant choose between the viet or the mandarin version....

  • the cantonese version...blah, it sounds bad. >.>

and no way it could be hacken lee. he sings WAAY better than that.

  • Comment removed

  • ichi ni san

    yat ni san

    yi ar san

  • u meant yut yi sam

  • 1)Madarin sounds the best because its the origanal and it just does <3

2)Vietnamese sounds really lovely for some reason :)

3)Korean sounds good but somthing dosent sound right in it

    4)Cantonese sounds horrible :(

im cantonese and i say it sounds bad.Yes i do think vietnamese sounds better in this song c:

  • xAdrienne159

actually the original is korean mandarin is just a copyright

  • They all sound beautiful.

  • Mandarin

    Korean

    Vietnamese

    cantonese

IMO the singing in the cantonese one doesn't do its justice. That's just too bad. So amateur.

  • to me, vietnamese verison is pretty alright.

mandarin verison is pretty cool though.

cantonese verison wasnt all that good. in fact it was horrible.

korean verison was pretty cool too.

  • @la626boyz dude if someone didnt speak english they would think that language sounded really weird why can we just think all languages are beautiful instead of fighting for one fuck man

  • @la626boyz i fuking hate europe language shittist of all hate english the most because i have to learn it i perfer chinese sound million time better

  • you know vietnamese was influnced by the french ! its our second tounge

  • its actually influenced by china ya dumbfuck im vietnamese

  • you guys dont believe me, vietnam used to be chinas territory until we revolted and borrowed their customs and language

  • dont forget about french taking over too 0.o

that changed the chinese language to our own

  • Why are u telling us this?!?!? this has nothing to do with video.

  • i believe you :) cause it is true. then the french took over and changed how viet people wrote and all of that

  • Omg the mandarin version is really good..better than I thought. but most of all i'm happy i can understand some words sung there i'm learning the language right now!

  • I'm Japanese... and I think the Mandarin one fits the best... although the Korean one does sound pretty sweet also. Cantonese one just sounds so rough.... No comment on the Vietnamese one.

  • Even if you don't understand the language you can still have a preference and know which one suits better to your ears. I would say:

    - Korean is a pretty language but the singing doesn't stand out as much it should be but overall it's pretty good.

    - Mandarin suits very well for this song and the singing is good as well.

    - Cantonese sounds awful in this song and the singing is as bad.

    - Vietnamese sounds pretty bad but good singing though.

Just my opinion and I'm Cantonese btw.

  • u said there are some english in them. so where is the english version??. By the way, i like the chinese version.... becuase im vietnamese!! lmao

  • Of this song, I think the Mandarin has the tightest rhythmic groove, but I generally like Hangul in the way it is spoken, sung, and how well in transitions to/from English audibly.

  • the korean version is the best! ;)))

  • every language can be sweet if you understand it

  • i like the chinese version

  • I like the korean version but the Mandarin version made me listened closely and both voices were really good. The vietnamese girl sings well too.:)

  • well i am viet so i guess i have to vote for the viet one plus bao thy's english was pretty good so GO VIET

  • forgot, u asked people not to post bad comments but u ended up talk craps about the Viet Version lol. What's up with that???

  • LOL. I was thinking the same thing

Besides, if we can't say we hate it, then why ask us for our opinion? >__>

  • the original one is korean..

  • the cantonese is not fanmade i believe..

  • I like Mandrian b/c i listen to Be de bu ai a lot so i know alot of that one than the other 3. Even tho i am Viet and i understand the viet one ;D My 2nd favorite :DDD

  • hiihhi nice..im viet 2 ihhihihi

  • viet yayayayayayah

  • korean (this sound really good) but the it was really slured.

manderin (who can not like the original)

    vietnamese (sound okay to me)

cantonese (lol gross, the intonation killed the song)
