I have a question. Do you not believe there is a global threat from islamic extremism? I mean even if the september 11 attacks were an "inside job" it still doesn't change the fact that thousands and thousands of muslims around the world are planning similar attacks on differing scales.

So long as our policies in the Middle East continue to result in the deaths of 1000's of Muslim people, the robbing of their resources, I have no doubt there will always be a threat of what would be considered "islamic extremism." I guarantee that we have killed more of them, than they have killed of us. Before 9/11, you were more likely to die by a lightning strike than you were a "terrorist attack."

If the event that created the "Post-9/11 World", where our civil liberties disappear, where arbitrary preemptive wars are fought, where the country is bankrupted, where Executive Power is multiplied by 1000, etc... etc... etc... if the event that created the "Post-9/11 World" was NOT what we were led to believe, and it CERTAINLY appears that way, should we as a country, and as a world know about it?
