ive been trying to get red hare on the 360 for a long time!! i cant fucking get it!! just the other day i got a red horse i was so excited!!! but i read the description and it said " his eyes miss nothing and he has a surpirior physique" and i trained it to level 5 and it has 500 speed!!!! im SO PISSED THAT IT WASNT RED HARE!!!! can someone help me pleasseeeeeeee?????

damn horse farming, i do hei fei 20 times, guan du 20 times, and chang ban 20 times and all i got is Dapple and Ebon king... still tryin though and cant wait for hex, shadow, or even the elusive red hare...

quick question, i got a white consider/heavenly and i got stat increased up to 483 only to speed, rest was 485+ and i reset three times and still wont get to 485, any clue to why that is?

I accidentally found a rare horse while farming He Fei Castle on Chaos to get weapons for Zhuge Liang. Using your training guide, it's now a really sweet grey king :D find weapon, musou spirit, renbu gait, and water spirit. with lightning property. thank you once again!

Admittedly, it's a pretty shit auburn king with only 3 skills, but it's an auburn king nonetheless :P i was pretty lucky and got it on the second chang ban run XD and all the level ups worked in terms of stat increases so i never had to reload :D

@TheEvilSmiley1 Neither is a requirement. Lady Luck just increases luck supposedly, making it a bit easier, and being a higher level allows for access to the skill in the first place, as well as makes runs faster.

Names are random. If it isn't considers the world and heavenly physique, it isn't turning into a rare horse. That's all.

Hey lurker, it is not hard to get red hare on PS3.

Just time trick and you will have it.

if you want i can send you my save game for PS3.

It has 3 or 4 chars LVL 50.

the rest is LVL 1 or +- 20 if it had a musou mode.

Just keep redoing the level until you get your element, and once you do, save it. Then keep redoing the next level until you get find weapon. I have 3 main horses. One is a find weapon+saddle, one is a find saddle only, and one is a pure combat horse. It can be a bit annoying, but just make sure you are redoing only one entire level and reloading/saving, rather than all the leveling at once.

As long as they have lady luck it doesn't matter who you use. Also, it is just a method of horse farming. I really don't see why there'd be a console dependency unless something is very different in the PS2 version.

Nope. I was just showing that it is possible to beat the mission in that low of a time and still get 3-4 horses each time. You can beat it in under a minute too, if you are quick enough vs Liu Bei. I've done it many times.

Yes, but using 2 makes you get one extra horse, since you will have a 2nd character with find saddle activated.

I don't really remember too well, but I believe lady luck is the main thing to look for. I used a 30s Guan Ping as my 2nd char for a long time, and still was farming well enough.

It works for all horses. The horse type and description are random. This just helps you get them the fastest possible so you are getting to check them for rare or not quicker.

I have a Easter Moon, and a Bay shadow horse. And I leveled them all stats past 485 and their title doesn't have KING in it, only Blue Flame and Auburn Thunder

As ThisIsSmella says, just reset. I'd recommend just loading straight from your main menu, or changing profiles to avoid having to actually turn off and on the 360.

you have to get lucky just depends on the horse, i just got the brown king horse and its stats maxed and the one before that was the dapple king and his wasnt maxxed. so i guess its random.

try to get grey kings with find saddle ability because grey kings have the ability karma skill that works like a lady luck, so if you do that will become more easily to get rare horses.

obs:you can get 2 grey kings to have the 2 characters with the horse to become more easily to get rare horses!!!

i use liu bei and zhen ji both with lady luck and max level in yellow turban rebellion both with horses with find saddle, take the box with the saddle and go killing oficers until you get another saddle then finish the stage do it and a ,lot of times and you will get a horse consider and heavely!!!

All horse kings you see are randomly generated, unless you use the PS3 time trick. Using the method presented here, you can obtain any horse king.

if you look at the title, where it say jump exp speed ect, it also says title, THERE is where the name "red hare king" will stand. But on the list it says Ginger moon....For me it dident say "the Ulitimate dream" so dont wurry about that:)

Hey I got the red hare today, really happy:). One thing tho, when you are lvling the horse the first time it dident turn into a redhare when it hit lvl5. I was following your guid exatctly. Then I restarted and found another guid that said kill as MANY troopes are possible, and I did (allways around 100-200) and when I hit lvl 5 it turned into "red hare king". This might be the case if u cant get it to turn into the red hare... At the end the name is gonna be "the red hare king"

I find red horses most commonly on Xu Chang, i only need red hare aswell, this is depressing. Also i got shadow runeer with zhang fei on yellow turban rebellion doing all targets, it was in his musou, i have had all the others at least 4 times, including hex king. : (

its pretty rare that a horse with those attributes doesnt turn into a king. it has happened twice for me. im just curious but what map did u obtain that horse on and how did did it take?

There were probably 2 different things that happened:

1. All stats need to be over 485, not 480. So 484 wouldn't cut it. >_>

2. It may have been an auburn or scarlet horse, not red. Red are really rare to find.

If you kill a Peasent Chieftain, Liu Bei stops running and stays to fight. This makes it easier for you to kill him

Actually that is unnecessary. You can kill him in roughly one combo and before he gets across the bridge or right after he crosses the bridge. He is on foot, and so it is no problem catching him. When grinding/farming, reducing the number of steps to accomplish the goal is the same amount of time or quicker is key. If you can one hit kill the chieftain near the 2nd bridge, without slowing down, then it makes sense to go that route. Otherwise it is just adding steps.
