Saving up for a trip to Japan at the holidays at the end of next year for me and 4 other people.

Currently have around 3 and a half thousand dollars saved up.

How much would I expect to save if I want to have a good week in Tokyo with my 4 friends?

5-6 thousand? 7-8? 8-9? 9-10? 11+?

just get a tourist visa and overstay, fuck thats why theres so many illegal mexicans here they all didnt jump a fence or swim across a river to get here most just got legit work or tourist visas and never left, while its most likely harder to get a work permit to go to japan, so just get a travel visa, a plane ticket and some cash (a person i believe can stay 3 months in japan as a tourist) go to the more unsavory parts of japan and hunker down. of course its illegal.

It's great that you're trying to motivate people, but the fact of the matter is... Japan is a hard place to live in and most people who visit end up leaving. Getting a job is hard to begin with, even as an English teacher, because there will usually be 2 or 3 other people going for the job you want who are more qualified. If you are not from a native English speaking country. Well tough beans. My suggestion is if you're are not studying full time here is to join a jet program. If not good luck.
