  • I'm Jewish but I enjoy Catholic choral and organ classical music very much. It's the music itself that i care about, and it can be very beautiful

  • this one is simply fantastic.

  • I believe all great composers realized that they were not the creators or originators of beauty, but rather mediums between the divine and the earthly. The melodies themselves are eternal, or manifestations of something eternal, and the artists were simply able to discover them and transcribe it to art through their gifts and hard work. Today's music and art is about the personal image of the artists, trends and how they "express themselves", and for that reason it mostly sucks.

  • Back when music actually meant something, in your heart, mind, soul. When all your strength to live was heard through the harmonious intricacies of diverse sounds and instruments played in accord. No manner of distraction could divert your passions. For your desire, your own being was defined by the essence of what you heard. It gave breath and tears. Emotions and heart felt serenity expressed through the divine tales of old. Summoned to be expressed as the voice of angels. Destined forever.

  • Every time i listen to this, the tears just blind me. Absoloutley BEAUTIFUL. *sniffles*

  • 3:29 Best part.

  • this is ohhhh so beautifull!!!

  • i have to analyse this for school what the fuck is wrong with all of you? how can you like this?

  • @alejo9535 uhh, cause it sounds GOOD. clearly if you don't like this, then you deserve to DIE.

  • @3t3rn4ldr34m1ng go choke on a dick faggot

  • @alejo9535

We like it because we like virtuostic music made by REAL musicians/composers.

Because it has much more heart and soul than any hip hop/rap song will ever have.

If you don't think this is good, or if you at least can't see how this music is good, you are clearly musically ignorant, in which these great compositions are wasted on your ears.

  • @WolfieboyMachi People all have different and unique tastes in music. Not everyone is going to like everything you may consider good. It may be technically good but if it doesn't match their taste in music then the person may not like it. There are certain rap songs that can have meaning as with any kind of music. Maybe somebody likes how a rap songs beat is performed rather than a choir song or an orchestra. There is a reason that there are various types of music in the world. God bless you.

  • @777ProdigalSon777

Well of course. I am well aware of this. Taste is subjective. However, this will always technicly be better than hip-hop. It is more complex and it is more virtuostic than hip-hop can possibly be, at least as far as I've experienced.

And sure, I know rap and hip-hop can have a heart and soul, but this simply has more effort into it. The amount of work it took to get these works to be even played once was immense, which is why I will never respect hip-hop as much as this.

  • @777ProdigalSon777 So what I'm trying to get to, is that it's not right to look up at your music taste but then look down at somebody elses music taste no matter how it sounds. I don't believe that music is about being teqnically superior. I don't believe that's what makes a song great. I believe what makes a song great is how it makes you feel. For you , what makes your skin tingle and your heart get touched, it may be classical but maybe for somebody else, it's rap.

  • @777ProdigalSon777

I understand that completely, and I agree, to a certain extent. But even so, I cannot forget the fact that there is simply more effort and work put into this kind than in Hip-Hop.

I don't dislike hip-hop, but I will never consider Kanye West to be Mozart's equal.

  • @WolfieboyMachi Lei ha ragione VIVALDI è stato immenso Grazie da Walter-

  • @macciboma

Wut? Sorry dude, but I have no idea of what you are saying...

  • @WolfieboyMachi Dear Sir, I wrote that for me is great VIVALDI-greetings walter.

  • Il est simplemant baux, cette piece de vivaldi. merci pour mettez aux youtube

  • beautiful!

  • This is my absolute favorite composition. It even beats Whitacre's Sleep.

  • This is one of my favorites along with Pergolesi's "Quando Corpus Moriteur."

  • my favorite phrase of this song is 4:10 when the altos come in with bonae voluntatis

  • GREAT INSTRUMENTAL SONG

  • I can't believe I'll sing this, it's SO BEAUTIFUL, love it so much =')

  • I like this particular recording particularly because the very last "-tis" in the choir is sung at forte. Gives it a really powerful ending before the instrumental decrescendo.

  • @dodgesxt Hi, But this IS "scream your heart out" music! In the most whole-hearted heart - screaming there IS. But it's musical heart screaming. NOT voice screaming! They are singing, "And on earth, Peace, to men of good will..!" It is a promise, and should be sung by voices who's hearts are enriched with that gold.

Voices who want to carry that "holiness", not voices who want to show themselves off. I like "He shall lead his flock.." from Handel's Massiah! God bless you!

  • i'm singing it with my choir in Israel, it's one of the most beautiful pieces i've ever heard, it's a heavenly music.
