@dabomb1357 It's not my problem you're sensitive to the fact that he's failed horribly as a leader. If you can't handle a grown discussion, come back when you can.
@niveknailgun Grown discussion, coming from someone who made a comment about the dislikes, and then replied with "Pfft. Deep"... Ya, you're the mature one.
Simply being a soldier and/or veteran doesn't mean anything more than any other job title. The title denotes what you are expected to do. There is no prize just for showing up. Performing that duty to the hilt is the difference between attempting and excelling and Benevidez did so like a boss. We should all strive to meet standards and beyond like he did. I feel honored to have heard his story. Chris Costa nailed it.
@arabDESERTeagle There the Oakley SI Assault Boots. The older ones, the newer models have a little bit of a different design...I wear them, comfortable boots!
@arabDESERTeagle personaly i have a pare of original SWATS and there like my end of the world boot they come in all shapes and sizes side zip steel toe bio seal for EMTs black or tan and feel like a niki running shoe light wight ive bin running mine for 4 years now and not so much as a ziper jam just out standing
@Friedstuffsable There's situations that no amount of preparation can prevent. But you have training for everything else. Because dying from something unforseen and unavoidable is a shame, but a preventable death is a real tragedy.
@John234pwns It's definitely nice to have the training when it is needed. This kind of conflicts there are now.. It is better lucky than good kind of thing.
@Friedstuffsable Well... if you worry too much about luck, you're going to loose the battles based of skill just being a nervous wreck. What can you do?
@John234pwns I would have to say that the number one thing you can do in those situations is to be mentally prepared. Your body will never go where your mind has not already been. Check out Col. Grossman's book "On Killing"... it talks about the warrior mindset and the psychological aspects of taking another human life in combat.
@Friedstuffsable You are right on that one, but if you survive the initial blast... the mindset needs to be right to keep you from dying if you still have life and fight left in you. Stay in the fight brothers.
@Ethan2561 Army, Air force, Navy, Coast Guard, in the end we are all sheepdogs. Doesn't matter what branch of the military you serve in, they all protect our freedom. Not so sure about the National Guard though. haha I kid I kid.
the story inspired me tremendously, and just when i thought that was it, Costa's speech drilled that inspiration into my mind, heart , and soul... as a former Marine, ive heard and told of alot of stories and speeches that are motivating... but God damn, this video is now up there on the top of the list lol
i have never ending respect for our brothers and sister mothers and fathers who fight in our military but i have zero respect for the global banker elite that send them there to further an agenda or profit from their deaths. if my knees werent so bad and they would let me in i would be their fighting alongside side you all despite what i know about how the world works. god bless all of our military, AARON.
I watched this with a group of friends, most either Mil. or LE. The silence after the video was crushing; we just sat there for a good minute dead silent. The last point was the best, it’s not just about war or being a soldier, it’s about being THAT kind of person. Someone who will give it their all and understanding that this type of training, attitude and mindset transcends the battlefield, it allows you to protect your family and your community.
2 people have no respect for the brave men and women who have risked and, in many cases, lost their lives in service of our country. I'm 14 years old and my Grandfather served in the USMC during Vietnam. He was fortunate enough to live, but I know that our freedom would not have been possible without the sacrifices of so many other American soldiers who were less fortunate
@maswolf96 Well said young man. I too am a veteran, but of a different time (Iraq) and service (U.S. Army) and I admire you for realizing and respecting what your grandfather did during his time of service. I would like you to shake his hand and let him know that I also respect him and thank him for his service to our great nation. SEMPER FI!!!
