I know what you mean about the ending. I actually started really reading them a few weeks ago after getting the first three for Christmas and barely reading the first one. I was driving 2000 miles to visit family and I got hooked. After finishing Spirit Bound I was even more anxious for the next one.

Yeah I like :P They're a bit more fantasy (HP like) than Twilight/Vampire Diaries. Probably why I like them more than those two :P They're definitely worth reading, once I started I couldn't stop and I read the whole series all at once and then I was like going crazy waiting for Spirit Bound (that's the latest one that was just released) but the cliffhanger at the end of that book was just out there! So now I'm even more exited about the next (and last) book!
