This is a great illustration of just how difficult it is to play some of those great funk bass lines. I'm no musician but my cousin is and I never get close to playing anything he plays on the bass. The music sounds so simple but all of the different notes can be miles apart on the instrument. You look like you're having but you're working out also!

Awesome man! It's amazing how these basslines arer more complicated then they sound. I remember when this song just came out. I never thought the bassline was so difficult to play until now, when I see you playing it. That is hard to do.

no doubt, it is a fast tranistion from the F# to the high E and back down again! That is why I'm into JJamerson, his lines sound so simple til you try to play it
