hey can i ask a question about piano sheet music?

a lot of sheet music is 3 staves. i know that the top line is the vocals and the 2nd and 3rd are piano and bass.

my question: instead of playing the piano part and bass, can u play the vocals and the piano only? because i notice that for some songs the piano and bass doont sound like the song, which is something that im aiming for.

well i go to an art school and i major in music (wind symphony) and our teachers are always like check your tuning. and blah blah so i can hear it some times.

wait so that means you made all these covers without a perfect pitch ? wow thats amazing. cuz i thought you had one. like i play the piano and it like takes me two hours to get the first verse of a song done. dayuum haha

and ya, you should tune your piano every year =/ sad isn't it ?

@purpleambitionz yeaah! but since im not home for most of the year i dont really bother tuning it.

and yeap i dont have perfect pitch. i actually can tell what key a song is in until i meddle with my piano. but i can tell intervals pretty easily (is that called relative pitch??) so thats what helps me out with playing by ear ^^

wow. that is amazing. ya i can't tell what key its in. i can only 80% of the time tell if the note is a c, a, b, or g. and like i can tell intervals if you like play them out like a major third and be like what interval that is. and i would know it but if its like a song... =/ noo.. that would take a while... haha

but thats really cool. i guess i need a couple more years of music. hopefully we will reach that one point in life where we have perfect pitch ^^;; hwaiting ! LOL
