From my understanding, the Euro spec car represents 95%+ what America will be getting. The changes that occur should be about federalizing the car...not cheapening the vehicle (aside from removing the illuminating rear fog which no one has here).
I'm with you though, I sure hope they finally give us a true world car...
Hope you guys are enjoying the Fiesta over there - bearing in mind that those are Euro spec cars. The Fiesta Movement cars all seem to be fully loaded with the keyless start, leather seats and climate control - equivalent to Titanium spec over here in Britain.
I just hope Dearborn's bean counters don't suck the life out of it when they release the US spec version - having seen what they did to the Mondeo when it came to the US as the Contour, then again with the original Focus.
