and the fans were called emos. The sub-culture didn't rise before the 2000s, anybody that says they're emo and means that it stands for emotional, i'm just saying beat the real shit into their heads. People have forgotten the DIY style that once was in eMo. I can find a page for you that describes it pretty good

@freakenjew It's very common to get lyrics and quotes as tattoos. Lots of people know that, so lots of people won't just assume she wrote it herself. Most bands appreciate things like that. I would personally see it as like the highest form of honor to know that someone liked your work so much they had it permanently become a part of their body. It's flattering. I have yet to hear of a band sue a person for getting their lyrics tattooed on them. It's not overrated if it truly affects you.
