While most of the Bounts fell flat I thought Jin Kariya was a badass. I think there could have been more scenes of them feeding on humans to emphasize the whole "vampire" thing but I liked the arc alot.
I liked this story arc. The characters were interesting and so was the whole premise. I also liked how they pretended to link it up with the concept of vampires.

The manga version is better than the anime version however the only time you get something from the anime that is not in the manga is anime fillers and even thou the anime fillers arcs are not as good as a manga arc sometimes the anime filler episode for the week is better than the manga chapter of the week and it's a bonus and fillers are normally bnetter animated.

I'm just sad that no one has paid proper attention on Yoshino. I think she is THE HOTTEST girl on Bleach so far -apart from Nel xD- and she did have a cool doll. Well, I didn't consider the Bount arc a filler...

Yes it was. They worked it into the main arc when Ichigo was getting his fighting spirit back, but it otherwise it had nothing to do with the story whatsoever. The story is based around the fight against Aizen, so having a villain like Kariya jump in and dick about with the other guys can basically be considered a filler.

@EroKisfune Indeed, that part could have been cool, but except for blood sucking, there's virtually nothing that makes them vampires. They're not harm by the sun, they don't have sharp teeth and garlic does nothing to them. They're like vampires from the Twilight series. Furthermore, the immortality they develop later thanks to the quincy isn't immortality at all, it's a healing factor. They can still die if you cut their heads off :/

Zanpakutoh rebellion was quite honestly the BEST freaking filler I have ever seen.... really tied some loose ends unlike other filler....

@yumichikafangirly true enough, though you do have to admit, at least they had a decent end to them, and at least it started and finished on the roughly the same quality level. Unlike the muramasa arc, which started of gobsmackingly kickass and really blew your socks off, only to fizzle out into bugger all. To strike a comparison, it was like the biggest most badass firework cake you ever saw start of great but suddenly gets wet and does nothing more than cough and splutter into awkard silence.

Yes it was. They worked it into the main arc when Ichigo was getting his fighting spirit back, but it otherwise it had nothing to do with the story whatsoever. The story is based around the fight against Aizen, so having a villain like Kariya jump in and dick about with the other guys can basically be considered a filler.

@NoobKing65 well i dont consider it a filler, since teh bounts are reffered to in a number of the arrancars episodes, they didnt bother mentioning any other fillers in the actual story line expect for the bounts, but anyway lets just leave it at that, i seriously dont wanna go on about this issue

@NoobKing65 Well in the manga they didn't actually work it into the story. In the manga, they didn't show Ichigo meeting Byakuya in his hollow fight either. The only person that showed up was Kenpachi.

@EroKisfune Indeed, that part could have been cool, but except for blood sucking, there's virtually nothing that makes them vampires. They're not harm by the sun, they don't have sharp teeth and garlic does nothing to them. They're like vampires from the Twilight series. Furthermore, the immortality they develop later thanks to the quincy isn't immortality at all, it's a healing factor. They can still die if you cut their heads off :/
But hey, you're free to like it.

And i know it wasn't in the manga but its not a filler because charas form the bount arc show up later on so technically it was a part of the actual bleach story.
And the ost they used for the bount arc were the best in my opinion.
