Ok now for a proper comment. 11 miles... that's quite a way. No wonder lex was completely knackered by the end of that. I think if I did that I'd be doing the same... but then I am a geek and only leave the house if necessary.
@frantic0466 I used to skateboard a fair bit and then all my friends stopped and so I had no one to skate with. Also certain groups of people (*cough* chavs *cough) in England will give you grief for skateboarding so it wasn't the most well received activity.
