Ok I loved this sketch and all but all this Ross guy did was capture animals and put them in a zoo, where they are guaranteed food and shelter, and you guys are calling for him to rot in hell. Gee, hypocrites much? I'm pretty sure most of you eat meat on regular basis, that alone makes you worse people than that Ross guy, if you're judging people by that criteria.

First off he's putting these animals in an environment where they wont have to worry about predators or starvation. To an animal living in the wild, that must sound like a pretty good deal.

Secondly if you eat meat on any sort regular basis you are worse person than this Ross character. That means you pay people to kill animals and then consume them. Ross only captured them.

And I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm a vegitarian, so no hypocrisy here. And since he probably eats animals, even the people on here who do aren't worse than him.

I will agree he perhaps could be more careful in how he treated them but he's still putting them in a much safer environment, he's helping them. I'd say, if that's your criteria for judging people, that Ross is still a better person than all those commenters, He might eat meat but he also has it as his profession to put wild animals in a much safer environment.

@crazypants88 Safer enviorment or not it's not their natural habitat. They're meant to be in their natural habitat, and from what we've seen those "safe places" are much too small. Many people feel that zoos are very wrong, no matter how "safe" they are. The commenters are better because they don't mess with nature, which Ross does.

One thing about wild animals is that they do a hell of a lot better in these environments than the ones zoo's had in those days. Those zoos were not about animal welfare, they were about giving amusement to city dwellers. 'Sweet' isn't saying that Ross is a bad person for eating meat, he's a bad person because he treats animals like crud.

The fact he did it for money doesn't invalidate the fact that having no predators around AND having guaranteed food is a better and safer situation for these animals. Again whether they're focus was or was not on animal welfare doesn't invalidate the fact that having those things I mentioned before is clearly a superior than being out in nature where they aren't guaranteed food or safety. Honestly how can you deny this?

Ok, now imagine this; what if someone kidnapped you and put you in a small room with a small window in it that people looked at you through, and gave you food by sliding it under the door. Now you're not hungry and you're completely safe, but do you think you'd be happy in that situation? And do you think the people who did that to you would be in the right?

And I bring you back to my previous post, would being sealed in a small room be worth avoiding all the dangers I listed and more? Judging on your response you think it isn't worth it, so why would it be for animals? Also I'd like to point out that the animals he's taking ARE the predators and insults aren't helping yor case.

Sure all these things are a conceivable threat to a modern human but they're still a lot less likely to occur than a wild animal getting eaten by a predator, starving to death, dying because of a otherwise easily treatable wound etc. None of these things are a major threat to zoo animal. Preferable the animals shouldn't be in tiny cages, I've been to plenty of zoos where the animals have a modest living area.

But even with zoos with the most tightly cramped cells, my points still stand. They're still safe from danger, they're safe from starvation and they're safe from dying from easily treatable injuries. Predators can still have predators that hunt them and even if they don't I listed several other dangers, not just the threat of predators.
