You hear that? that Roaring sound, the Earth is Shaking, it stinks, it uses Gas like there is no Tomorrow, is Rattles, its Shakes, It is SOO German, and It's A Panther! everybody is in awe!!

The Nazis were then, and even more now are full of falsehoods, and bad policy. The panther was a heavy tank with the capability and reliability of a medium tank.
Awesomely frightening tank. It makes you appreciate the courage of American and British tankers in their little Shermans (Ronsons) to go up against these monsters....
stupid brits will never made tanks like this......this is the single most outstanding tanks in WWII despite the gearing problems in Eastern Front in 1942-43.....the king tigers and tigers I are too heavy and too slow and too dangerous for most bridges in european hemisphere in 1940's........
This is in the german city of Koblenz. The German army has got a militarymuseum there. In the last years, they drove the tank during "open day of the museums" but this year, they dont drove it for unknown reason. They dont drove any type of vehicles, i heard. Anyway its possibile that the Museum will be close in the next 3 or 4 years and alle the collection move maybe to Dresden or Münster. But thats not sure yet. And its the thank of the WTS/BWB, watch number 801

It looks like there is a FG 1250 infra red projector on the commander cuppola, with "Bildwandler" receiver? This device still exists?

Hypothetical question: how would a Panther fare against a modern MBT? Let's assume that Panther ambushes its opponent and gets to fire first.
The MBT in question can be a T-55, not necessarily a Leopard 2.
