@emo1394 so sorry for just now responding to your comment. Best thing is to seek help. Talk to your medical doctor to see if he knows of a good place in your area to seek help for depression. Also you can check to see if there are any self help centers in your area. I know exactly what you are going thru for I had the same problem. The sooner you seek help the sooner Recovery can begin.
I have suffered from a range of symptoms, from light headed, over lapping thoughts, athsma like symptoms, high blood pressure, memory loss , manic shopping sprees , going from worrying about everthing, silly comments , over analying everythingh to not caring, going home and not talking to anyone , feeling physically sick, to taking unessary chances, i have severed a finger , burned my face and a number of other accidents cos i get irratated and jumpy, i dont want to eel like this anymore.
Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness and chronic fatigue syndrome is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.
i think i mite be bipolar, i feel sick n tired alot i speak n walk slowly i go from feeling bad to feeling very good im light headed alot or dizzy n i always feel pain in my body and its hard for me to get motivated n hard for me to pay attention to thing let me know if u think i should get checked
Thankyou for your comment.. As far as medications are concered it is so hard to find that right medication to help. Some takes a quicker where there are people like myself which for me took from 1995 till 2003. Now I am doing fine, good whatever you can say that is good
stay strong help4depression. my own journey with this disease started almost the exact same way yours did. I had what I thought was a heart attack while driving to work and some hospitalization, it turned out to be my first panic attack. I've been on anti-depressants and bi-polar meds ever since. that was 3 years ago. I struggle everyday, but try and find a reason each day to live to the next one. stay strong, and never give up. your not alone. take care.
There was a time I never thought I was going to come out of the tunnel. I may have to stay on medications for the rest of my life but I have decided that is ok. It keeps me level. It is the same as though I had diabetic and had to take medication. Life is Good. Never thought it was so Good.
my mom collapsed 2 years ago after getting up at night to go to the bathroom because she was feeling sick.
She had a panic attack She took some meds that the doctor subscribed that gave her horrible side affects. shes a lot better now what worked the best was family friends and relaxation, we took a trip by train to see the grand cannon it was amazing.
im happy tho, and i never let myself get put down, if i do, i am the one that lifts myself back up, i dont ask no help.
And oh sorry for ranting about me on your video, but i felt this was the perfect place to talk about it, i have never really talked to any other bipolor person so its comferting lol message me back man or somthing we can talk when ever you want im on here alot.
also it is not the doctors fault for taking so long to find the right meds. we have come along way with mental illness but we need to go further. thanks again sorry it took so long for me to get back. i am watching my videos more closly now.
hey thanks for responding, its ok that it took so long i know its not a top priority to check internet mail lol, but yea man, im on a med now called xanax, and its helped me in so many ways, its prolly the best med. they have ever put me on, and in my mind its the best you can be on, cuz when im on xanax i feel so much better and i feel like i could accomplish almost anything, like they make me feel like a whole new person, i dont know if thats what you are on or what but you need to try them.
they are the BEST medication i think, or at least the best that i have ever taken, and if you have never tried them you need to try and get some cuz they are a modern marvel in the medication trend. like when im on them i have no worries at all, it just feels like the whole world is at piece, and its one of the best feelings i have ever felt.
Hello Danny Yes Xanax is another good medication to take. I was on that back in the 90's and it did help me somewhat. I was put on it when I was first diagnosed as being with major depression however later in years i finally got diagnosed correctly with being bipolar. in 2003 i was put on the righ combinations of meds and boy what a change. It was like you when they put you on xanax. I am a totally different person. continues
@bowlinmaster89 hi its been 2 years since we have had contact. I just want to check in with you to see how things are going for you. How have you been feeling. I was going thru my old messages and came across yours. Hope all is well
pills almost drove me down to the point where i was gonna live with my parents all my life and never have a real life, and be4 i was on them i played football and wrestled on my high school team, but soon as they started i quit everything evan school and stayed home all day, now im off of them and i have not had one sign of a (bi-polor) moment in my emotions AT ALL, this is why i will never take medication umless im really sick, or a threaten with death. when i turned 18 it got better somehow.
i have bi-polor, and i was put on a med. called seroquel, it made me NEVER want to leave the house and NEVER wanted to evan talk to anyone, all i wanted to do was sleep, they have taken me off that about 2 years ago cuz of a recall or somthing and i had evan dropped outta school cuz of them pills, now after im off of em, i went back, graduated and now am a student at UTI studying nascar engine rebuilding. it was at once said i might be too bad to evan get a job in the real life but not now lol
i am also on seroquel however i take it at bed time and yes it helps me go to sleep. before i could not go to sleep i also take other meds at bed time with out them i would be awake for endless hours what a nightmare it was. everyone is different what works for me may not for you or someone else. it took years until the doctors finally came up with the right medications for me. now i am going to college. something i never thought i would be able to do.
