i guess it worked because it scared the hell out of me and i dont know anyone who even thought of riding on a elevator. i think this is played out now but i might show my kids anyway. thanks for posting!

wow! the first and last time i saw this was in the late 80's. i was living in the polo ground towers at the time and they showed this video at my elementary school at recess after a boy a grade ahead of me died while elevator surfing.. 22 years later i still remember this video and the impact it had on me.

Woooow how did you find this video? The first and last time I saw this was in the late 80's in elementary school. At the time I lived in the polo grounds and was a grade behind a boy that died while playing elevator action. They made my whole school watch this video after recess and I was definitely scared straight and still remember this video 20 years later. I'm not sure if kids still surf elevators but I might show this to my kids, thanks for posting....
