I personally have not mastered how to use Carbuncle in the way that the AI does. Due to the large size of his Puyo Pops, achieving anything above 6 chains is hard. Furthermore, I can only do it linearly, unlike the AI, who seems to be able to "see" the big picture and build up in such a way that is non-linear, and also incredibly difficult to blockade the important "starting points".

I have been playing the earliest version of Puyo Pop since I was very young. I normally start off with 7-9 chain attacks, followed by a succession of quick 5-7 chain attacks, and then I will deliberately use the very first fever mode to build up 7-9 chain attacks. The rest of it is just a repetition of this until either one gets defeated. I have however, never executed a 17-chain attack in fever mode. Quite impressive.

@MoogleVoodoo its a game played on the PC and this person hacked it to put satan in it, he really comes into amitie's universe in puyo pop 15th anniversary, so does the fever mode music you hear in this vid.

I play Puyo Pop Fever in the PSP. I'm totally addicted. Don't know why but I find most puzzle games boring. Max Chains: 7 (15 in Fever). Fav chars: Carbuncle, Raffine, Accord. You are so good with those chains w/ that speed.
