it was unclear at first, it took a couple of days for us to realise the Georgians struck first - but this has been building up for months. In Britain we are only getting the Georgians side of the story. Because Russia is so quiet and suspicious, nothing is being said and the British media don't want to go near Russian forces. If anything, it is the Russians fault that the rest of the world is being misguided by the over-exagerated Georgian claims.
