I put it on my W500 have to say moving around was sooo damn smooth, Problems the dev version has is No portrait mode mostly and going to my computer ect can be a pain

i have tried downloading win 8 but no look on tablet but it worked on my desktop and laptop but i think it is to do with a i7 to a crappy and in the acer w500 :) :)

@bakalov85 i have you cant do much on it when i got it it was not what you expect the acer is self is not bad but you will have to go for the 32gb card if you due boot windows 7 with windows 8 there is less then 9 gb left after puting windows 7 not including windows 8 hope thi help :)
Hi, please I need your help, I just bought an Acer Iconia w500, and I am having problems with the Atheros ar9002wd-1ngb PCI, is not detected on the Device Manager on windows,, so I can t use WIfi....so I tried reinstalling using the recovery dvd s, but I lost the second one, and the system doesn t install it, if I don t put the recovery dvd 2 of 2,, please can you upload an iso of the disc... My PC's running OS X and that had a Vista sticker on it.

Windows 8 seems like a clunky lousy copy of Android /(invite Microsofty faggudy flamers ON).
This is what we've been waiting for?! A version of Windows with bigger buttons! So fuggun WHAT!
The Android interfaces seem cleaner and intuitive while Microsoft continues to recycle the the same old design into every fucking thing.
Disagree all you want,but their mid $20's stock price has been the ostensible proof since 2002.
