  • i piss on the side of the toilet to avoid making noise

  • u mad, water companies?

  • I'm too distracted by the beginning:

    1. It didn't look like he wiped anything with the toilet paper - so what was that for?

    2. It was obvious he was wearing his pants on the toilet, yet I could hear him zip up his fly - does this mean he was peeing while sitting down?

    3. The MDF board makes the bathroom look trashy.

All in all, however, this is a great idea!

  • @mgcasella it's not mdf. looks like particle board though. and the rest was obviously for a demonstration. he's not going to upload a video of him actually peeing...

  • @tofu4tortoise

Thanks for defending the shitty video, Mr. Troll. You may go back under your bridge now :-D

  • @mgcasella i wasn't trying to be rude, asshole. don't be mad that you're wrong.

  • @tofu4tortoise

Oh WOW! You insulted me from behind a keyboard on YouTube! You are SO brave! Please don't swear at me, Mr. Troll - it hurts my feelings!

    WAHHHHHHHH!

  • @mgcasella ok.

  • @tofu4tortoise

    I RULE!

  • @mgcasella awesome. go celebrate.

  • @tofu4tortoise Who says I'm not already celebrating????!?!?!??!???

    YES!!!!!!

  • what kind of fillvalve does it have

  • Good idea, you saved two cups of water. If you keep saving water, the water company will just go up on your water bill.

  • what the hell.. o_e..

  • Yeah he drink that .. couse it is drinkable Water.... hehe

  • ?? wait did he just drink that???

  • so if this is draining back into the fill tube that means you are filling the bowl with dirty soapy water right?

  • AFTER>****>FLUSHING>GOING UP IN FAUCET>WASH HANDS>DRINKING THE WATER>YUCK>HAHAHAHAHAHAA

  • don't you still have to pay the water bill

  • @kfaslf yes but you have to flush your toilet also, this just allows you to use the same water for two different things. You pay for it but get more usage, so its free in that sense.

  • I don't know why I like this video, but I do.

  • it is turning water that would normally go into the bowl anyway, into greywater...

the only hygiene note here is the the old mythbusters poop particle tooth brush test. havin the sink that close to the flushing bowl might have some increased "contaminant" transfer. but really, bacteria are everywhere. i like the idea

  • @TheiRenaissance But that is not the only sink in the bathroom..that one is only used for when your done using the toilet. The idea is that you have another sink in the bathroom, but you just use that one for washing hands.

  • i fail to see how this saves water, As say you have a 5 litre cistern, it wont stop filling untill it reaches the 5l mark, as some of the cold inlet is being diverted to the makeshift spout (say, 1L over the fill cycle.) it will have a total water input of 6L during the fill cycle as the extra litre goes down the bowl anyway.

Correct me if i am wrong as most toilet syphons are slightly different over here in the UK.

  • @TerrorTrooperM The only water you lose is the bit that remains on your hands and the water you drink. The rest goes straight to filling the toilet I think.

  • Which water is used?

toilet from where you poop or the filling cistern

well is the weirdest toilet if you put your brush next to the sink or the top of the toilet it's not clean :I

  • @theMarcus4131 Common sense?

  • lol clever. But if you think about it... you could say he drank from the toilet D:

  • dude thats like coming from the back of the toilet ...nassssttyyyy!!!!! :(

  • @twilightfan83316

no thats the water refilling the toilet so its the same as the water from the sink

  • he didn't even wipe...if he did...he when back to front....them balls must look like they been in mud....bwaagagagag

  • Awesome idea. Maybe this will get the boy to wash his hands after he drops a load.

  • Haha That is one of the best ideas i have seen, great invention. Love when you drink from the pipe hehe, naturaly looked discusting. But like the others say "same as the water in the kitchen'.

  • ???? he drunk toilet water thts gross but good way to save money but i dnt recommend drinking frm there

  • that is the source water that is used to fill the bowl, meaning it's the same water in the pipes that would come out the sink. He's drinking it before it's toilet water.

  • It's just as clean as the sink water at that point dude. Awesome idea man! F'ing brilliant!

  • @XxTechiroxX

it's not toilet water yet; take a minute to learn how it works & you'll find he beat the system by thinking outside of the box - the 'faucet' is using the CLEAN water that will refill the toilet after it is flushed

  • Stupid you still pay for the water

  • You only pay for the water when you flush the toilet with that tool. On the other hand, if you don't use that too, you'd be paying for flushing the toilet AND washing your hands in the sink...

  • yah but u are not wasting clean water on your toilet asshole

    thats the idea

  • The point is that you used the water once for free. So, in a way, you get a bit of free water.

Otherwise, you'd be paying to wash your hands in the sink while the toilet refilled.

The water he drank, however wasn't free. lol

  • but you waste pure and clean water in the toilet... you are saving water...

  • good idea, no wasting water at the sink, just use whats already being used.

  • you still pay for it

this isn not the sims where you have to buy a sink for your bathroom

what house today does not come with a bathroom sink?

  • I really don't get the negative comments here. I love the idea. It's wonderful idea. Genious. Really congrats on the idea. Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why not walk to the sink? and then go to the kitchen......?

    damn these people are lazy

  • congratulations, you missed the point completely

way to invent your own though

  • but this water isn't hot so bacteria won't be killed off as effectively

  • The hot water at a safe temperature can't kill bacteria(It has to be above 150F(65C) to kill germs), but hot water helps the soap wash off the dirt and oils on your skin. The simple work around with cold water is to using a liquid soap or a foaming soap.

  • yes you got that right... this is a bad idea cuz in alot of parts of several countrys they use rainwater for it... only cleaned out a bit to make it look fresh and noi smell ;)

  • well this is america, sink water is no diff. than toilet water

  • why is that free????

  • Wanted to know.. where you sitting on the can when you thought of this??.. lol

  • O.o i think im gonna barf

  • Why would you barf? its the water from the back of the toilet that is clean, not the water from the bowl.

  • Very smart but that came from the toilet o.O

  • thats the whole point...

  • cool

  • oh i see wot u done u hv got the inside of the tolilet the get mroe water into the bowl nd then put it tho a pip nd bk in bowl then down the toilet lol

  • very good idea

  • i wonder where that water came from....

  • this is done in japan

  • People on the internet are so awesome.

Nice one Greg. I expect to see this invention in your bathroom when I next visit your adobe.

You know... if you'd ever invite me, that is.

  • Great idea, I have so many problems with this video but I wont go into them, only the problems concerning the sink... GREAT IDEA...really, BUT it looks like such a big inconvenience having to lean over and use such a small sink, why not walk 2 feet if that to use a normal sink?

  • Because this saves you the water of using a seperate sink when you could just use the water that's already flowing into the toilet chamber?

  • Yeah I know, I can easily see that. But it doesnt change the fact its a pain in the ass.

  • Psh, who closes the lid?

    =P

  • SinkPositive has had this type of sink on the market for more than a year now. Japan has had it for decades. Easy to see why.

  • That is sustainable design at its finest!! You Rock!!!

  • Very good idea!

  • With this design the water goes directly into the overflow tube into the bowl, therefore never touching the reservoir.

  • what is wrong with you? respect ingenuity and try to be at least constructive.

  • Once again.... Someone has to rain on the parade! Although this may seem to be a crazy way to conserve water, it is a pretty good concept. I applade your creativity. The world needs more crazy ideas like this with a bit of fine tuning to better the future. Thumbs up!

  • This is the best idea i have seen in my life, seriously, i can do it at home. I will try, but i wont to remove my usual sink, i`ll try to sinсhronizе it with my toilet. Thanks a lot for instructables!
