I just purchased the Sideshow 12" Phantom..(Silver Screen Edition) for my collection and I have the Remco 3 3/4th inch Phantom (Non-Glow) from my childhood Lon Chaney's performance in this 1925 classic made him one of the most iconic horror images of all time...

@EpicF4iLx23 well, it`s hard to tell, but yes, they both sr and jr are amazing actors... in silence era is no another actor like Lon sr, he was much better than others... jr was great in horror classic, he can every monster from wolfman to dracula, always perfect... sorry for my english

the first bit of music plays during the credits at the end of the 2004 POTO movie, and the 2nd song was a deleted song from the same movie, all the other music can pretty much be heard throughout the rest of the movie.

I love Raoul. I mean, I'd defintly (sp?) choose him over Erik, because I know Erik's character.

Still, Erik's my favorite character and I feel terrible for him. D:>

thank you for posting this I was looking for Lon Chaney's version of the phantom and just to see a few clips of the most famous phantom of the opera movie ^^ The end is more depressing in this movie :P I have always liked Erik better than Raouel hes a panzy. lol Thanks again <3

And also, Raoul is a sweet character but also very brave, you can't call him a pansy. Look how he dived into the mob to save Christine and the phantom just ran away.
