Hey im black n i think its dumb to hav a white guy every time, but it could still be accurate. Ive been robbed before, n its always someone close by, that knows your schedule. Rarely do burglars rob random houses or even scope out houses in a neighborhood far from them. If this is a majority white neighborhood it would be a white guy almost all the time but if it was mostly black then it would be a black guy most of the time. Regardless, these commercials are silly and are more funny than scary.
After watching dozens of these home security commercials one thing comes to mind. These guys are not home intruders but vandals. I believe they just like to break windows and doors, and afterwards run away. Completely harmless. No more dangerous than kids toilet papering houses.
To the ladies, just let these serial window breakers destroy a few of your windows and they'll be on their way.

If she has time to answer the phone, wouldn't it be faster for her to dial 911 ? The police would be on the way in minutes or you can talk to the representative then hang up and wait for him to dial 911. Doesn't make sense. And who stops to answer the phone when someone is breaking you door down anyway ?

Seems great if you constantly arm and disarm your doors every time someone comes in or out. Almost nobody would bother with keeping that alarm up all the time however. More likely they'd get the alarm, stop using it all the time, and the dude would just break in. Much more cost effective to retreat to the bedroom with the kids and retrieve the family pistol or shotgun that you've learned how to use, then dial 911. Maybe the cops will arrive, but if not, you're covered. Guns save lives.

The reason it's a white guy is that the commercial was shot in a very white neighborhood. Burglars usually target areas they're familiar with.
