  • @SpearWieldingOctopus hahahaha i'm gonna do that!

  • @DimebagRIPCFH I don't think the xbox live community is ready for Tibetan throat singing... therefor; you should do it.

  • transormers brooooomp

  • this totally reminded me of the Inception soundtrack. too cool!

  • YEEEEEES

  • thats fuckin awesome

  • hell yes i love it i sing like this all the time and its fun as hell tibetan chanting is really fun if you listen really closely he is getting harmonic overtones i always shoot for the overtones in my tibetan chant and that is what makes it so amazing as well as the deep vocals, i guess singing in all those black metal bands finally paid off for me, just takes a lot of practice and desire to do :)

  • How do you even get your voice that deep!?!?!? o.O

  • @KawaiiKyoKyo @KawaiiKyoKyo By using the "vocal fry" mechanism. You vibrate your larynx like as when you growl or clear your throat. If you learn to control it, you can mute your normal modal tone, and you are left with a rapidly vacillating sound that is an octave below your normal voice. There are tutorials about it.

  • Meditative and sinister at the same time

  • Cool.... like a monster wating yround the corner in a sci-fi shooter.

    No, really great!

  • damn... who needs didgeredoos

  • Cool, a human Didgeridoo!

  • rock on....

  • I like how the guy on the screen is looking at him like "wtf is that noise"

  • Quite a bit of reverb! - Makes it sound sick!

  • Really... The reverb makes big part of the oddity of the voice...

  • I was living in Sikkim for a bit, and the guy's house I was staying at hired a few monks to get rid of bad luck (or something, I wasn't too clear about this) and this is what I woke up to every morning, at daybreak or before daybreak, for two weeks. Along with the huge horns they blow in

  • War of the Worlds!

  • How the heck do you do that? I want to learn that.

  • than what is it?

  • Mongolian throat singing style and STFU

  • Why do Tibetans sing Mongolian throat singing? Or better tell me the difference between Dzo-kay and kargyraa mate.

  • It's called Harhiraa Any Tibetian brothers here ?

  • well its dark cant be sure))

  • 1)Kargyraa is painful and overstress the voice and is not good for meditation. 2)Tibetan style makes one more overtone. It seems the same but it is not .

  • He's an inspiration.

  • that, is hardcore.

  • Nawang Khechog?

  • Yep.

  • @hayeng Yes ,this is Nawang,His Music has been a Great Discovery since the 90's.

  • awesome!!!!!

  • This is not really meant to be entertainment. It is part of Tibetan religious rituals. For proper perspective.

  • While it certainly is religious in context, it was presented as entertainment. It was performed prior to a screening of the movie, "Richard Gere Is My Hero," in Dharmasala, India. That movie is possibly the first non-documentary film to be filmed by Tibetans about the Tibetan community in exile, with an entire cast of Tibetan refugees. The performer is Nawang Khechog, a Grammy-nominee who is widely respected as one of Tibet's finest musicians.

  • I know Deus2479. I meant to correct benabz's attitude.

  • what is the scepter thing he is holding?

  • SHIT THAT'S SOME LOW KHOOMEI! Wow... I'm jealous of your talent.
