I'm curious about the quality of the spring assembly. Is it plastic in the middle? I'm wondering if they make a more durable option? I don't understand the purpose of the high cost for something like this... it's really nothing more than a five dollar laser pointer with a couple small pieces of metal... do you think the cost will ever come down? I think I'd be willing to pay 50 or 75 dollars for it and I'd love to have it... it's just way to expensive to justify.
excellent video's...glock did good when they hired you as an instructor,,,, no wander they control most of the handgun market and also cause of the multiple options you can buy for these guns.
I also noticed that the spring looked crooked. Also, Glock began manufacturing dual spring guide rods for their Gen 4 models as you demonstrated in another video. Do you know if Laser Max plans to replicate this design for lasers for Gen 4 models?
I have both the Lasermax internal and the Crimson Trace Laserguard models for my Glock 27. There are two things about the Lasermax I don't like: First, there's no master on-off switch. When at the range, the recoil causes the laser to turn on after 4 to 5 rounds and having to turn it off each time gets to be pretty annoying. I usually end up replacing the laser with my SS buffer spring for range shooting. Second, the laser was inadvertently activated while holstered in my Crossbreed Supertuck
I have one on my glock 19 and love it. Watch my video of me shooting the glock 19 at the new Gander Mtn. Academy in Lake Mary, Florida. I also have a few other modification which I purchased from the glock store. Thank you glock store for your great product line.
Great video! Excellent description of the laser and 'how to' install. Going to order one for my Glock 23 today (ebay retailer $280)....and then on top of that with the $50 rebate going right now it's a no-brainer. Thanks again for posting this video, it helped convince me this is the way to go.
Since the guided rod laser replaces original equipment, aren't you compromising the quality and its effectiveness? How is its accuracy beyond the 20 feet, let's say 50 feet?
