My dad is a chief ticket inspector but my dad's friend Joshua uncle drives mostly A.P express from hyd to balharsha and twice i got a chance to sit in the WAP loco. they are absolutely areodynamic and as a matter of fact i started the 1st gear, 2nd, 3rd , 4rth till 24 gears after which uncle took over. it is a once in a life time to drive the loco for a then 15 year old kid....where people can only dream of sitting in them...truly great locomotive.
@predatorinstincts Dream?!! HAHA, My Grandpa just needs to talk to his friend at Chennai Central (where he used to work) and I will get a chance to sit on the WAP-4 of the Tamil Nadu Express!...No big deal bro ;)
Most of GZB beasts are dirty, but they do a damn good job with the trains.The coaches though are sparkling red, and that too ICF rather than some Airtel or Tata Indicom.
