  • i don't know what the deal is with the complaints below, installed Fibe service 1 month ago, and the service is a gem! love the Fibe! the only drag is 'cos everything is through modem, it all goes kerplouey when there's a power outage! their client service representatives are informed and knowledgeable, no grief, everything gets done and quickly....btw, i'm not getting paid to say this, reckon i can get 1 month's free service for the review? lol

  • This product is not good, save yourself some frustration and money and don't get it

    I got it a month ago and have not been able to watch a program without the signal cutting out. Tonight I have been watching a one hour program and the signal has been lost every two minutes for 15 seconds.

  • Unplug all your phone plug based devices (phones, splitter etc) then make a speed test. If the problem still occurs, try another phone plug. If it still happens, call for a tech because the problem is outside your house.

  • Bell is a scam.

For the first time I can record my movies from my bedroom...or pause it in the livingroom and resume in the bed! Dont say bullshit...

  • @jippyoo7 Are you fucking stupid? They advertised free cable for a year yet they charged us with stupid rental fees. They do not allow us to cancel this stupid plan unless we cancel everything. This company is a scam, with the constant "maintenance" on internet *in 2 places I've had the constant problem of "server not found" and I'm damn sure google doesn't fuck up 5 times a day, let alone every other website. Bell is a fucking scam and I do call bullshit on it all. Fucking pay all this shit.

  • @staver76 Fine for you man. But I'm sure many people had problem with Rogers too like any companies... Me I'm with Bell and everything is fine. The bill is lower than my neighboors for the same services and I appreciate it. And theres nothing to compete against optic fibre. I think you were not on fibe 7 when you had your problems right? Cupper cables sucked...

  • @jippyoo7 I'm on fibe 16 right now and the problem is still occuring. Maybe it does have to do with the location. Although, there is a bell building literally 10 kilometres from me. Shouldn't be any excuse as to 5 minute cut offs.

  • @staver76 And I guess you already called the test center? And a little trick for you : Ask to talk to a french speaker, then talk in english...they are all supposed to be bilingual and youll talk to somebody from montreal or toronto...Those ones care about custumers..

    Its probably because there's a shortcut on the line in the drop outside...Many people have this problem when the cupper cables outside are too used (Bell is an old company) Check your phones to be in good shape, call recorder...

    I just talked to Bell Canada today to enquire about my sympatico website. I want to delete it and the Technician told me that it was already deleted. So, I told him its NOT impossible because I am looking at it right now. The best solution he offered me is to transfer me to the expert.

    The Next Technician told me that I could do by using FTP.

    So I downloaded FTP software.

    But, In order to connect to my website thru FTP, I need the Host Name.

    The Technician doesn't know the Host Name. She said it was no longer the extension of their service.

    Little did she know that while I’m talking to her, I enter 3 different Host Name and it went thru? I did not tell her that I got it working, I just want to challenge if she can answer a simple question like Host Name.

    And she keep repeating that this is no longer Bell Canada extension of their service and they don’t deal with FTP software.
