this man is the originator of this rifle design and Cheytac has infringed their design. They are currently in a legal battle. EDM came out with this rifle long before cheytac even produced their rifle. Its an exact replica down to the machining except Cheytac added a barrel float and handle. And not to mention its twice as much money. Dont let Cheytac fool you in their claims. I dont even own either but I was looking at this rifle before the "future weapons" show made the cheytac a craze..

This is precisely the same thing as the CheyTac Intervention M200, but without the handguard and handle, and with a different bipod. The caliber can be changed to 408 CheyTac, 50 BMG, etc. by swapping out the barrel and bolt.

it's not the intervention, the intervention fires the 408 chey tac, this one is a 50 bmg

with the way california legislature is going and the overall direction this administration is taking and how it will be affectiong fire arms i find myself even more interested than ever to learn gun smithing. CA laws are some of the worst in the country as far as guns are concerned everything being a case by case basis rather than being Constitutional based laws. 2nd Amendment is by far the clearest of them all. Its Sad this great countries government has abandonded the document that founded it

@Cbizzl a year ago i managed to find one of these for sale. it was $20,000. now EDM arms has the contract to make them and they cost $6,000. im joining the marines, and im saving for my personal long range defense weapon.

They do, but it's very small. It's the M-06 Mini-Windrunner, at the bottom of their "Products" page.

The 7.62x54r is Russian. NATO is 7.62x51. It'd be fun in those calibers, though.

Maybe a 7.62x39 with a deep throat to accommodate heavy bullets for use with subsonic loads for a suppressed rifle.

And 7.62x54r is just a fun round. One of my videos shooting the K-31 at steel plates, we took the 54r to another steel plate and it blew very clean 1/2" holes clear through. It was the heavy PKM steel jacketed stuff, so no surprise there, but it was still very impressive next to the .308 dents.
