I knew it was very real in the beginning. My friend and I were saying that a few years ago, but it obviously became kinda scripted and guided towards the middle to end. I read Lauren's book, which was fictional, but it was basically about her. The producers would send them texts while they were on screen about things to talk about and stuff like that.

Regardless of how talentless she was, the reality is both her and Heidi could capitalize off they're looks, they wouldn't have been hired and put on that show in the first place!...and Audrina also got modelling gigs after her show, what did Heidi get accept a rotten Husband and bad press!....in my opinion? The show was always overproduced and scripted. In the jump from the first to second seasons, numerous characters disappear without explanation, the scenes are much-more "produced" (conversations are shot from multiple angles, looped dialogue), the teasers use deleted footage to change the story and several real-world issues (the paparazzi stalking Lauren, Heidi and Lauren's failing friendship) are never addressed. You're deluding yourself if you think it was all real.

For instance, Heidi never worked at Bolthouse - she had an arrangement with them to show up twice a week for 3 hours a day and pretend to work. That whole plotline was bogus.
