@AnsonAdams Now, I'm not going to immediately assume that you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, but to be honest it sounds like it. I mean, yeah, animation may sound simple even if you are acquainted with the tools that this man used, but he had to first model those characters, texture them (and they were beautiful), rig and skin the characters, do those great animations, and then composite what he made with complex lighting. I'd like to see you produce something comparable.

Blender is strictly 3d. Try Pivot Stickfigure Animator if you want something really basic and easy.

BTW, 2d, and 3d animation are two very different things to learn. Listen. I've been using blender for 5 years, and I'm 13. One thing i learned is completing a project takes a lot more than just making it. You have to know what your making. And even when you start making, you might have to redo a lot of your project. I'm not surprised at all about the production time of this video.
