Still love this fucking game. Its a shame though that Namco wants to make SC5 now and "fans" are saying they want it to be a combination of SC2 and SC4. Sad shit right there. Series is dead to me now. =(
@Ergeniz That's exactly how I feel. If that's what the audience wants then they're welcome to it, I've given up trying to work out what planet they're on. This game though, I feel is timeless. I have a quick bash through now and then, and it never fails to make me smile.

Soul Calibur is dead to me now, I'm not going to look forward to the 4th one as I did no.3 - if it's a worthy sequel to Calibur I'll be all over it (but it's silly to get your hopes up). Kingsbury is on the Jubilee line and one stop from Wembley. To me SC3 felt more like SC1 than SC2 did, although I didn't get to play is a much 'cos I dont have a PS2. SC4 looks pretty nice tho :D Btw, there's quite a few London players over at Soulcalibur(dot)com

I paid well over the odds to get my SC3 on the day - that same night I was absolutely despairing at the game (proper threw my stick down and hung my head at one point - I was inconsolable for quite a while! XD). SC3 was the final nail in the coffin for the little challenge sessions I used to have, everyone I used to play with gave up playing after playing the third one unfortunately T_T.
Ofcourse I still play ^^ - games like this are worth their weight in chocolate flavoured, cocaine sprinkled gold! I'm in Kilburn (North London/Zone 2) - always up for challenges!
I think your buddy should have learned not to counter parry. He kept doing it and getting burned. Oh, by the way. Nice touch with the Matrix music, it seemed to make the battle appear more frantic. :-)
