Yes. Both set the same hymn. But BWV62 is not a mere reworking of BVW61. It's completely different setting. The opening chorale (BWV61) is in the style of a French overture (compare to the overture of orchestral suite #2 in b minor, BWV1067), and as I recall, the strings are in 5 parts instead of the usual 4. Very fine arias and recitatives, too. Maybe you can post it when you have a chance.
what is the name of this church, please?

This is one of my favorite Bach cantatas. I read somewhere that BWV 61 is more famous, but I preffer BWV 62.

Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland,
Der Jungfrauen Kind erkannt!
Dass sich wundre alle Welt,
Gott solch' Geburt ihm bestellt.
(Now come, Saviour of the gentiles,
recognised as the child of the Virgin,
so that all the world is amazed
God ordained such a birth for him.)

Master pray with pity view
all the warmth of our affection.
Lets our thanks,in love abounding,
In Thy gracious ears be sounding,
Make us in abundance thrive,
Never may the Friend contrive
To reduce us to subjection.

According to my little booklet, BWV 61 was written in 1714, and BWV 62 in 1724. Based on same hymn.
