  • The first result is Glee.

    You dissapoint me, humanity.

  • @Joeaho I know right? What the hell

  • You are right , music has gone so far downhill in the last two decades it's so sad. The kids will never understand or even admit it but their music didn't do much for them, our music meant everything. These Kid are not alright as far as thier music , we had it so good and now we know it.

  • @gary11350 there is a small population of teenagers, who agree with all you just said. but well never be able to get all kids to like our music, because you cant always get you want

  • @gary11350 baaaaaaaahhhhhhhh

  • Mainstream music is commercial bullshit.

  • i really like this version

  • I'm a baby in a cradle and this is the best music there is. Better than lady Gaga or Justin Bieber. I wish i woz born a hundred years ago.

  • This is the year my cousin turned my on to the Stones. I was Twelve. I loved them. I'm 50 now.

  • Zuz

  • Indeed, a great version. But I can't seem to find the original track on YouTube. It was on the album "Let it Bleed" if memory serves me well...

  • @noushitaisa /watch?v=0mU7nQt3Qng&feature=related

  • House ♥

  • This was my "ode to being rejected from Medical School!"

  • muy cierto.

  • juste une légende!!! ya pas de mots pour décrire se que je ressens quand j'écoute cette chanson :)

  • I like the stones, but this is not a very good version...

  • @sxxydon bullshit this is a great version...i usually can't stand the versions they do these days

  • @joemoe23 that's why we all have opinions...lol potato pototo

  • Worry Not , The Stones will Always be MAINSTREAM

  • Hank Moody FTW

  • 2 people didnt get what they wanted

  • one of my favorite songs

  • Simply fantastic version of this song....wow

  • @josette- where is it?

  • You can't always get what you want.......................but when you do, ohhhhhhhhhhh man it feels good doesn't it !!...

  • love

  • I'm nearly 60 and barely understanding this. It's profound! I've found what I need is for those I care about to get what they want and that's what I need.

  • I visited Brain jones;s grave in Enlgand.

  • @josette4231 Oh! I would like visit him too! Was it like some kind of rock mysterios?

  • I visited Brian Jones's grave in England!!!!

  • You can't always get get what you want! Yea, think about it if you try sometime you may just get what you need! Some think this has a different meaning those are loser's but those that try sometime are the winners! They do get just what they need!

  • This was released as the B-side of "Honky Tonk Women." The version on this single is shorter than the one on the album. It was released July 3, 1969, the day after Brian Jones died.

  • 2 people have already made a comment involving justin bieber refering to the amount of dislikes of this video.

  • Cool guitars . 100% Rolling Stones.

  • @PopCultureSucks yeah it is a shame. I wish they still made music like this but you can't always get what you want.

  • @DynamiteIzFun fuckin rite.im an 8th grader.and i will refuse to sellout and give in to all that rap and pop shit.....this stuff like the ramones, led zepplin, rollin stones, and lots more were legendary...talked bout real life.pretty mush tellin most peoples life story..todays music is abpout sex drugs and acohol...and shit like lady gaga and kesha and lil wayne are just tellin little kids"go ahead get drunk and fuck people then go to jail and come out as a star!" have parents seen gagas clothes!

  • When I hear this song it makes me sad, not because this song is sad, but because music like this doesn't exist in the mainstream anymore, it's a shame!

  • @PopCultureSucks Tell me about it. I grew up in the 90's Rock era, play some underground metal, and I even hear Death and Black Metal. But even I know nothing can top these classics. Nowadays people hear rap (Retards Attempting Poetry) and pop shit with the World Faggot(everyone knows who he is). It's sad to know this beautiful art is becoming rare to find now.

It's sound is played with beauty, but it no longer sings.

This is the Symphony of the Broken String

  • @PopCultureSucks Its amazing what Fame and money can do to people nowadays.. pretty pathetic if you ask me.

  • @PopCultureSucks it is a shame

  • @PopCultureSucks Open your ears, there's a lot of great music out there. Learn2internet and stop being close minded. Close mindedness and people only listening to one particular band/era etc is why the parts of pop culture that suck do so. Stop being part of the problem and be part of the solution.

  • @ZiddersRooFurry I never said there wasn't good music anymore, I said good mainstream music is almost nonexistent. I listen to a lot of music from bands that are not well known and I love it but listening to mainstream pop radio makes me nearly want to vomit. Good mainstream music is dead, good music on the other hands is always there, if only under the surface.

  • @PopCultureSucks Awesome man, glad you clarified that for me, cus were in 100% agreement. Still, even the silliness of popculture can be fun, when you know it's not everything there is.

  • @ZiddersRooFurry agreed

  • 2 people cannot get what they want

  • I enjoyed your video very much! I am definitely a Stones fan.

  • my dad made me watch this to teach me a lesson because i kept asking for an ipad

  • my dad made me watch this to teach me a lesson because i kept asking for an ipod

  • This is the ONLY good version of this on YouTube! All the others are American Idol, Glee, and stupid covers! Thank you SO MUCH for uploading!

  • This is the ONLY good version of this song I can find! The rest are just American Idol stuff, Glee, covers, and they're just not good! Thank you SO MUCH for uploading!

  • living throught this period in time was one of my greatest gifs in my life

  • Beautiful song and brilliant rocking version.

  • @unmedication Do you think I care? Maybe YOU should get a life. Just sitting on the computer thumbing people down and telling them. I really don't care. And don't say I do care just because I responded, I'm just informing you...and everybody else who sees these comments.

  • me too ! you can listen & learn to whatever you want to . your dad sounds cool mate

all british bands too !!!! you are lucky to have a good start on great/classic bands

there are many great bands & artists out there from jimi hendrix to talking heads

you sound like you know what you like & i'm sorry for our earlier "discussions" !

stay cool & tuned in !

it's jim morrisons anniversary today The Doors are brilliant beyond any words

give them a listen if you haven't yet. take care man.

  • Who's Mick Taylor? You said this song was by Mick Taylor? It's Mick Jagger. The guitarist's name is Keith Richards.

  • @CMD9889 mick taylor was the virtuoso guitarist in the rolling stones from 69 - 74

played on all the classic albums from 2 tracks on let it bleed , get yer ya ya's out,

sticky fingers, exile on main street, goats head soup & it's only rock 'n' roll .

the stones have always had two guitarists , brian , keith. mick taylor , keith, ron wood , keith . whose mick taylor ha ha killer you know your rolling stones ok !!!!

  • @goonchistaw No need to be so sarcastic! I'm apparently not as big of a Stones fan as you. All I know is Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. I bet I'm a bigger U2 fan than you, though.

  • @CMD9889

    Who's U2 ... I thought that was a spy plane ?

  • @Rikkyhardo U2 is only the best band of the eighties! Maybe even of all time! Look them up. Look up the song "Where the Streets Have No Name," and "Sunday Bloody Sunday." If you still don't know who they are, then you're not a Rock & Roll fan because they got in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility and they have over 750 million album sales! Even The Rolling Stones don't have that many and they've been around longer!

  • @CMD9889 i do not know where you get your facts from , but post the truth instead of a ridiculous comment . U2 have sold 130million albums from 1980 to present day . not 750million as you claim . you need knowledge to print comments that are not valid as you get some ppl who know better than you & i'm one of them. i'm not sarcastic @ all just know what i type is correct....

  • @goonchistaw I looked it up on wikipedia and they have 150 million album sales. I guess the 1 looked like a 7. But you were right.

  • @CMD9889

Best band of all time??? Only the Beatles could ever hold that title!!!

  • @Rikkyhardo Ummmmm? Different people have different opinions. The Beatles are good, don't get me wrong, but they are overrated. Let's face the truth, if The Beatles had started in the 80's, they wouldn't have been as popular because they wouldn't have been the first Rock band to write their own music.

  • @CMD9889 u2 are finished , you're full of it , looked @ your channel you comedian

rock music you say you are into some rock bands !!, stones but didn't know who the guitarist was named , you are certainly a bigger fan than me as i'm not one .

i saw u2 in 1979 supporting stiff little fingers & the undertones , were you even born ? u2 were not the best band as echo & thebunnymen , new order & many more are better & always were.

  • @goonchistaw

You forgot the Beatles ... the best eva

  • @goonchistaw Okay, what are you talking about? U2 just released an album in March of 2009 and it already sold over 2 million sales. It's considered one of their better albums. They also have one of the most famous albums of all time: The Joshua Tree. No, I wasn't born in 1979, but I'm not telling a pervert like you when I was born.

  • @CMD9889 you were doing well then ragazzo. i don't know how old you are you prick , by your replies & words i'd think about 13 you dickhead.

  • @goonchistaw What do you mean my "words"? How old are you? What does ragazzo mean? Is that one of those hippie terms? By YOUR replies and words I'd say you're a mental 5 year old thinking that you're better than everyone else.

How was this conversation even started?

  • @goonchistaw Okay, I don't get a word you're trying to say. I'm not a HUGE Rolling Stones fan so I don't memorize all of their names. I know their famous songs and some of their underrated songs because I own 2 of their albums (Some Girls and Let it Bleed). And what? So you're just because I wasn't alive in 1979 I can't be a U2 fan? U2 was the first band I ever liked. They inspired me to listen to other bands. Without them, I wouldn't have EVER listened to the music I listen to today! =3

  • @goonchistaw

blimey you know your stuff man ... are you a Mick Taylor fan by any chance? ;~)

  • @Rikkyhardo i'm a sound tech man , it's my job to know these things , but yes i really love mick taylor era stones . u2 i saw them support stiff little fingers & the undertones a long time ago , they are a meaningless band with a preacher instead of a singer "where the streets have no name" is one of the most annoying songs ever.

boy, war, october, under a blood red sky , joshua tree , game over.

  • @CMD9889

Friggin hell boy ...you have gone and done it now. You have released goonchistaw's unfathomable temper on you.

Never diss people on here unless you are very sure of your facts, and never threaten them, call them names or suggest that they are mental or retarded.

The guy has your age just about right by the way you are talking. It is always best to be honest and state your age so that people can make allowances for your stupidity.

  • @CMD9889 ragazzo do not make a channel to send anonymous insults that mean nothing @ all you joke. , just think how fucked up you are to do that ? very & your teenage rants are fucking funny . can't believe you made a channel to send an insult

you thinking of shooting all your school mates ? sad little fucker.

  • @goonchistaw Okay, dude. I already said I was wrong about the 750 million album sales.

  • @CMD9889 ok man. lets agree to disagree , no worries , ragazzo only means boy nothing bad , i'm italian living in england for a long time

    peace out .

  • @goonchistaw Okay. I agree to disagree but that means we are agreeing so what should we disagree on? You think the best band is The Rolling Stones, right? I think it's Pink Floyd. There, we disagreed. (?)

  • @CMD9889 pink floyd are perfect for mood music & a reality check (time)

i prefer the stones until 1974 when mick taylor left so did my interest

saw floyd @ wembley & main road mcr & roger waters too @ the M.E.N.

brilliant , i can't fault pink floyd @ all as i have almost all the albums they recorded .

    you can't compare the stones to floyd , one's r 'n' r , the others mood / chill music

  • @goonchistaw Yeah, I agree with that. A lot of the time, it seems like I prefer to listen to Pink Floyd rather than The Rolling Stones even though The Stones are awesome. You're lucky you saw Pink Floyd. What era of Pink Floyd do you like better: The years with Syd Barrett or the years without Syd Barrett? It's hard for me to choose. Both years had great albums. My favorite Pink Floyd albums are Wish You Were Here, Meddle, and The Division Bell.

  • @CMD9889 we agree !!! i love pink floyd from atom heart mother saucerful of secrets , meddle , darkside, wish you were here, animals, the wall & the final cut. i think i like the post syd barrett albums ,roger waters is playing all of "the wall" @ manchester arena & i'm not missing that , they are a really unique band you really can't find a band to compare them too. they are pure mood music & one of the greatest bands of all time , no doubt @ all for me

  • @goonchistaw Finally! We can agree! Sorry about the earlier arguement. Anyway, I am still young so you know more about music than me. Here's how my music life started. I was about 5 years old. My dad showed me The Beatles, The Police, and U2. I said I liked them all but U2 was my favorite. I listened to U2 for many years and my brother told me to branch out from just U2. So, I started listening to Classic Rock radio stations and I found some good songs by other bands that I now like.

  • @CMD9889 haha i am a young rocker as well, cept i grew up wit my dad showin me black sabbath, iron maiden n metallica

  • @youngpokerprodigy I grew up with my dad shoing me more Classis Rock than Heavy Metal. He never really got into the head-banging like my brother. My dad showed me U2, The Beatles, The Police, and Genesis. U2 was always my favorite! U2 inspired me to branch out from just thows four bands and now I love bands like The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, and more. I'm done talking so just go to my channel to find out all of the music that I like!

Thumbs me UP for no reason!

  • Don't confuse U2 with the Rolling Stones. The Stones are the gretaest rock band ever whereas U2 is some kind of movement for a lost generation. U2 does not rock or roll, but preach a lot of stuff that suits their agenda.

  • @jbstonesfan I never did confuse U2 with The Rolling Stones. Bono and Mick Jagger are COMPLETELY different! Same with The Edge and Keith Richards, and Charlie Watts and Larry Mullen Jr.

  • @jbstonesfan It's a shame that in a constantly evolving feild, the title "greatest ever" has already been handed out. It all goes downhill from here then?

  • @CMD9889 good. And that's what i plan to do my w kid. In terms of music at least...

  • @vascoernesto78 That's great! Let's hope he/she sticks with it, because EVERYBODY should love The Rolling Stones! And, not to mention, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Queen, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimi Hendrix, U2, The Police, and obviously The Beatles! Rock ROCKS!

  • @CMD9889 You got great taste in music!!

  • @PopCultureSucks Ah, why thank you! I made that comment four month ago, so I've branched out to even more bands! I don't feel like naming them all, so just go to my channel to find out the rest!

  • The best version and the best sound for this great song. And then when Taylor starts soloing it's over the top as good as music can get.
