Orribile scenografia nonchè detestabili coreografie che non solo distolgono dal canto e dalla trama e che rendono la visione a moi parere impossibile ed irritante. Contento di avere sempre diffidato dall'acquistare questo dvd.Trovo deludente anche la De Niese.

She has a lot of warmth in her mid-range. However, it sounds like it is at the expense of her high notes. She is trying to carry the weight up, and it presses down. The back needs to open up to really let them ring.

The dancing was cute. I can see where the director was going, but it seemed a little much. She seemed tired at the end.

@spenzur Agreed. I mean, the Charleston...really? It's kind of like they thought the audience wouldn't be interested enough in the music or plot otherwise and had to throw in some random entertainment. I couldn't take it seriously at all.

Cuando existe un guion (libreto) que está hablando de una epoca, por mucho director escenico que pretenda, sacar a un cantante a escena en pelotas o vestido de Blancanieves, representando a

Giulio Cesare, por mucho modernismo que pretendan inculcarnos, yo estaré siempre en contra

y por supuesto no me sacaran un euro de mi bolsillo, ante semejante barbarismo.

Em segundo, responder com insultos racistas e xenófobos não são de bom tom, principalmente de um mentecapto que nem sequer sabe o que é música, tanto mais ópera. Comentando esta produção de Glyndebourne, digo-lhe que é superior a tudo o que alguma vez vi referente ao Giulio Cesare de Handel, ópera que já vi ao vivo cerca de 15 produções. Já esteve em Glyndebourne? Eu já e várias vezes. Tenha dignidade.
