tosh has already met the dotor though. He met her in series 1 episode 4when owen was supposed to be investigating an alien corpse but because he was hungover tosh went instead. I don't know if Tosh ever mentioned it to Jack though. But I totally agre with you - we don't need the cast dieing its usually quite emotional (tosh comes instantly to mind).

oh i dunno, maybe it's for the best... don't get me wrong, i cried when tosh and owen died! but i think they're trying to make torchwood like doctor who, where they change the cast every so often so that it gives variations on relationships and makes the show last longer.
