When I was jumanji being sucked back in we all saw the stampede animals of course. But if you look carefully you can see the monkeys and even the lion. althought I couldn't find the spiders, and the crocodile and the pelicans. Could anyone make a video trivia on that ending.

i didnt like zathura i think there should be a jumnji 2 since at the end of the movie the 2 foren girls were walking on the beach so basicly it was like a to be continued thing

Even the book Jumanji was based off hinted a possible sequal.

See, I saw the movie when I was like, 6. If they made Jumanji 2 instead of Zathura, I'd have gone to see it. Zathura, I had no idea was from the same writer, and I instantly said "What a rip off Jumanji." And I gave ti no second thought.

@teletubbykiller23 Well, Zathura was written by the same person that wrote Jumanji. They assumed it'd be just as good regardless of cast and plot.

Dont rule out a remake just yet. I'm sure eventually someone in the world of film making will remember it and think "Gee, why not remake it and give it a modern theme!"

you cant really say it was jumanji 2, it was just an advertising ploy to make the film sound more appealing, they had very little in common with one another except the fact it was a magical board game...

@frito345 Yes, Zathura is hidden underneath Jumanji. In the BOOK. Not the movie, I was saying that the Zathura movie was not a sequel to Jumanji. Zathura had the same basic premise of a magic board game, but it was technically a completely new adventure and movie of it's own. Though I will agree the book Zathura is a direct sequel to Jumanji.

@JumanjiSoundtrack I think what fifaxfourm was talking about is an actual jumanji 2 which shows what happened with the game after sarah and alan threw it into the river,who started playing it again and the like. Zathura used the same concept but it was a movie entirely its own with no real connection to the original jumanji save for the idea of a living board game.
