dang that sucks...1 cause i know carl and i know hes a good fighter. 2 because he lost to some1, whos good but not great. but thats the beauty of this sport...no matter how good u are, it only takes one hit to make suck again...lol..much respect to these warriors!
What's up Avp, I see your point but I don't think there is much that can be done about a fast knockout or submission unless a standing 8 count is instituted which wouldn't make any sense in mma. I just think there needs to be a distinction between a knockout and a flash knockout where someone gets hurt but still has some fight left in them. This was not a flash knockout, he was lights out.
@FanUltimate no the guy was strong but evidently Lavar was stronger! I love Lavar he's my hero i actually know him he's ironically very nice! i mean for a pro boxer i go to the same gym as Lavar and we talk sometimes you know say hi and goodbye but he doesn't always have time he takes his work very hard. but he's also very funny i dont care what anybody says! :)

I would have liked to see the fight go on. It looked like it was going to be a good fight. They should change some rules in the various fight games. Of course if the fighter is knocked out cold and doesn't get up after say.... 20 seconds.... fight over. But in some cases like very early KO's and submissions, there should be some provision for a 1 min. stoppage and then continuation; perhaps with severe point penalty.
I disagree with the being able to get up thing. That belongs in boxing. MMA is the way it is now by a revamping of these said rules. Changing them to soemthing else would be dumb imo. A lot of early stoppages are by refs not noticing a knockout..or when a fighters goes limp. Some refs consider knockdowns..knockouts. Which this isn't the case. Like I said though this rule im ois not needed.
That dude had no chin..He isnt gonna last in the UFC's Heavyweight division. To many monsters that would kill him.
